I witnessed the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding and operational licence agreement between the Uganda Communications Commission and Starlink, marking an important step towards the commencement of their operations in Uganda. Our interest is security, revenue assurance, and proper accountability within the telecommunications sector so that we know who is operating and who the customers are. I am pleased that Starlink has agreed to comply with Uganda’s laws and regulatory requirements as it prepares to begin service delivery in the country. I wish them good luck.

The DEATH of the last Queen of Rwanda (1928--1994) 💔😭
On April 20, around 11: 30 am, soldiers invaded Queen Rosalie Gicanda's home and abducted her and six others.
Before she died, she begged her killers not to use machetes and knives. They respected her wish and shot her six times in the chest.
She was one of the first people killed in Butare, and her murder marked the start of mass killings in the area.
Approximately 7,000 Tutsis were killed on that day.

@UgandaEC You need to work on reducing the number of voting days! A maximum of two days which can be declared as public holidays would be sufficient. A person who's incapable of voting for up to 8 candidates on the same day can be considered civically incompetent.

We have learnt that the state is planning to carry out some disastrous activities, all of which will then be blamed on NUP.
Previously we’ve seen the “fake bombs” and machete killings.
It is sad how people get killed in such mess simply because someone is trying to make a ridiculous point!
God help our nation.
