はじめは2アールの畑でした。 移住して当初住んでいたアパート横に借りた耕作放棄地。そこで家庭菜園しつつ余った野菜を少しずつ売り始めました。 毎朝毎晩、畑に出て作業している姿を見た地域の人たちが「ここも使うか？」と話してくれるようになり、翌年ビニールハウス少しと露地10アールになりました。 その後、地域おこし協力隊の任期が終わり、色々あって予定していた仕事がすべて白紙になり、手元に残ったのはこの家庭菜園＋αと空ものの法人だけでした。 悩みに悩み、出した決断は「家庭菜園を農業にする」でした。 昨年から新たに計60アールの耕作放棄地を借りて開墾。失敗を繰り返しながらも毎日作業に明け暮れている様子を地域の方々が見てくれていたおかげで、今年からさらに圃場が拡大。現在は2市町村で計3ヘクタールで野菜栽培をしています。 数年でここまで来れたのは、正直運もあると思います。でも、それ以上に、守るべき家族や仲間のためにぜったいに諦めないと誓って農業にシフトした自分がいたからこそ、今があると思っています。 踏ん張ること。頑張ること。続けること。 大変だけど、一番大切なことだと思っています。👩‍🌾
