On this date, April 28, 1758, James Monroe was born — the last Founding Father to serve as President of the United States. A young lieutenant in the Continental Army, Monroe crossed the Delaware with Washington and was severely wounded leading a charge at the Battle of Trenton (1776). He fought at Princeton, Brandywine, and Germantown, endured Valley Forge, Monmouth and served as a scout and intelligence officer. As the 5th President (1817–1825), Monroe served during the “Era of Good Feelings.” Some of his key achievements: • Acquired Florida from Spain • Issued the Monroe Doctrine (1823), warning Europe against further colonization in the Americas. • Oversaw the nation’s first major infrastructure push (Cumberland Road) • Strengthened the military and stabilized the economy after the War of 1812. After leaving office, Monroe retired to his Virginia plantation, Oak Hill. Financial troubles plagued his later years (Presidents often died broke or with financial troubles back then). He served briefly as rector of the University of Virginia and helped promote colonization efforts for freed slaves in Liberia (Monrovia named after him). He died on July 4, 1831 — the third president to pass on Independence Day. A Virginian whose steady leadership helped define America’s early identity. 🇺🇸

Dear Jesus, please heal him and help his family get through this difficult time 🙏✝️🙏 Last night Maddox Graser had two hits and helped his Wooster High School baseball team win 10 to 0. He was perfectly fine. By 8 pm he was throwing up at home. It got worse fast. He was rushed to the hospital in Wooster and then life flighted to the Pediatric ICU at Akron Children’s Hospital this morning. Maddox is a sophomore. A second baseman. A teammate. A son. Right now he has no brain activity. From a baseball field celebrating a win to a pediatric ICU fighting for his life in less than twelve hours. His family never saw this coming. Nobody did. His mom and dad are sitting in that hospital right now needing every prayer they can get. If you believe in miracles please stop scrolling right now and say one for Maddox. I'm signing off now to bury my father tomorrow. Brigadier General James Emory Mace, Sr. was a real war hero. He died with shrapnel from Vietnam still lodged in his body. He deserves my full attention and so much more. The most decorated living graduate of The Citadel ever, when he was still with us. It looks like peace with Iran is imminent. Stocks are way up, and oil prices are way down. The US Navy controls the Strait and the EU countries will take it over at some point. Iran lost everything and they are no longer allowed to enrich uranium. They’ve significantly damaged their relationships with their former Gulf allies. The US military won. They just executed the most flawless and historically unthinkable military operation in my lifetime. We are back! It’s over. The US won. Trump won. And, by extension, the American left lost. Birthday 59 for me today. Feel like I’m 39. Very blessed with an amazing family and dear friends. We all go through tough trials in life, and I certainly have, but somehow those trials make you a tougher and more loving person at the same time. More excited than ever about the future. Julie and I have three married children and six sweet grandchildren. What a journey. This resolution, while imperfect, brings to an end this chapter of injustice. This small measure of accountability should help the nation heal regarding the abuses of the past. FLASHBACK: Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi to secretly retrieve US made Stinger Missiles that the State Dept had supplied to Ansar al Sharia in Libya WITHOUT Congressional oversight or permission. Sec State Hillary Clinton had brokered the Libya deal through Ambassador Stevens and a Private Arms Dealer named Marc Turi, but some of the shoulder fired Stinger Missiles ended up in Afghanistan where they were used against our own military. On July 25th, 2012, a US Chinook helicopter was downed by one of them. Not destroyed only because the idiot Taliban didn't arm the missile. The helicopter didn't explode, but it had to land and an ordnance team recovered the missile’s serial number which led back to a cache of Stinger Missiles kept in Qatar by the CIA. Obama and Hillary were in full panic mode, so Ambassador Stevens was sent to Benghazi to retrieve the rest of the Stinger Missiles. This was a "do-or-die" mission, which explains the Stand Down Orders given to multiple rescue teams during the siege of the US Embassy. It was the State Dept, NOT the CIA, that supplied the Stinger Missiles to our sworn enemies because Gen. Petraeus at CIA would not approve supplying the deadly missiles due to their potential use against commercial aircraft. So then, Obama threw Gen. Petraeus under the bus when he refused to testify in support of Obama’s phony claim of a “spontaneous uprising caused by a YouTube video that insulted Muslims.” Obama and Hillary committed TREASON! THIS is what the investigation is all about, WHY she had a Private Server, (in order to delete the digital evidence), and WHY Obama, two weeks after the attack, told the UN that the attack was the result of the YouTube video, even though everyone KNEW it was not. Furthermore, the Taliban knew that the administration had aided and abetted the enemy WITHOUT Congressional oversight or permission, so they began pressuring (blackmailing) the Obama Administration to release five Taliban generals being held at Guantanamo. Bowe Bergdahl was just a useful pawn used to cover the release of the Taliban generals. Everyone knew Bergdahl was a traitor but Obama used Bergdahl’s exchange for the five Taliban generals to cover that Obama was being coerced by the Taliban about the unauthorized Stinger Missile deal. So we have a traitor as POTUS that is not only corrupt, but compromised, as well and a Sec of State that is a serial liar, who perjured herself multiple times at the Congressional Hearings on Benghazi. Perhaps this is why no military aircraft were called upon for help in Benghazi: because the administration knew that our enemies had Stinger Missiles that, if used to down those planes, would likely be traced back to the CIA cache in Qatar and then to the State Dept’s illegitimate arms deal in Libya.
