@kurt_prins @CMichaelGibson I don’t know if I agree, Kurt. I took another year in college to work on a music degree. Loved every minute of it. I think it gave me much needed perspective. And no burn out…yet.

@CMichaelGibson Yes and there should be a push to reform the admission process. Most young people are taking 1-3 gap years to strengthen their CV, which only contributes to burn out.

What are your views ? Should medical school be shortened to 3 years?
