At current AI has a hard time doing any of that, and robots are generally limited to what can be practically automated. AI simply is not currently suited to do what you are claiming and the job loss is generally due to net zero climate mandates which caused the entire global economy to crash. You should hope AI and robots can actually do something or we are looking at a worse than the great depression. Generally speaking AI is a media distraction.

Many argue AI is like prior tech revolutions--that the jobs destroyed will be replaced by jobs we can't yet imagine They're wrong. AI+robots will be better at the newly created jobs too. It's is a super-competitor, with the advantages of a generalist AND almost every specialist

@dryglick @wightmanr @karpathy @RhysSullivan This is exactly what I had just mentioned to Ross. One needs to manage the attention mechanism of the language models. What you did was to draw attention back to the .md file. Using a mix of experts You can use multiple agents using multiple models all with one shot attention.

@wightmanr @karpathy @RhysSullivan I've found this as well. Usually, after a memory condense in CC, I ask it to re-read the .md file and tell me what it violated. That usually works pretty well. Also, the superpowers plugin is a godsend.

Thank you Sarah, my pleasure to come on the pod! And happy to do some more Q&A in the replies.

@wightmanr @karpathy @RhysSullivan It's not so much that they get ignored as much as that one needs to manage the attention mechanism of the language model. It's simply that attention has been brought away from the .MD file and question.

@karpathy @RhysSullivan Instructions in agents/claud.md definitely get ignored, especially further into a session. Iterating though phases can help some of this, a buildout phase, and then a cleanup (helps more of it's done by another agent/model like) w/ reminders re style, re-test, repeat.

@naval Building software never been easy as it is now. I have cloned skool.com and vibe coded my personal community in 5hr. It's crazy how most of the features were one-shotted by Claude. I didn't need to make any changes, great times to live in.

Software will proliferate just as videos, music, writing did. The market structure will shift from a “fat middle” to mega-aggregators and a long tail. It’ll be a slower process due to network effects, but many traditional vendor lock-ins will get eaten by AI.

@naval The second-order effect nobody's processing yet. When software is free to create, the bottleneck shifts to taste and knowing what to build. Coding skill becomes less valuable. Product instinct becomes everything.

@naval Vendor lock in will exists for companies having a full ecosystem of offerings for the whole stack. The problem will exist for a specific company giving a niche offering or solution, it's replication can be done slowly and competition will prop up. Also AI is far from reaching all

I think you have let the rush of the star dopamine hit get to you. The only play is on the Enterprise side and I promise you they are already asking developers to rebuild this in house. It's not nearly defensible enough of a technology to warrant buying. I actually think the better sell would be to run your agency and continue to highlight the power of nano claw in achieving that. You'd probably have better luck on the outcomes on that end rather than a pure software play like this

Hot take: The most valuable company of 2030 won’t be an AI company. It’ll be a trust company. When AI can fake anything — images, video, voices, entire identities — The only thing that can’t be faked is earned trust. Your face. Your track record. Your community. Your word. Every brand, creator, and founder should be asking one question right now: “Am I building something people trust, or just something people click?” Because clicks are about to be worthless. Trust is about to be everything.

@boneGPT It's the length of your income not its structure. Underwriter is definitely look at your K-1 from your S-Corp just as much as they do from your W-2. I know you're eager to get into a house but you're going to have to be patient if you're using other people's money.
