@wightmanr @karpathy @RhysSullivan I've found this as well. Usually, after a memory condense in CC, I ask it to re-read the .md file and tell me what it violated. That usually works pretty well.
Also, the superpowers plugin is a godsend.

@karpathy @RhysSullivan Instructions in agents/claud.md definitely get ignored, especially further into a session. Iterating though phases can help some of this, a buildout phase, and then a cleanup (helps more of it's done by another agent/model like) w/ reminders re style, re-test, repeat.

Adobe did a massive pivot to subscriptions under Narayan: 16x subscription sales growth from 2012 to 2022 (from 10% to 90%+ of salses) which was basically Adobe’s peak market cap of $320 billion.
Then got clapped by AI narrative, since down more than 2/3rds to ~$100 billion.

Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan is retiring after 18 years. ADBE was ~$25B when he took over in December 2007. Narayan pivoted business from packaged software to SaaS and ADBE rose 13x to a peak of ~$320B in November 2021. Due to AI concerns, the stock fell 40% past year to ~$110B.

C'mon, we talk about financial ruination of this country, and this is exactly that. Buying a home is multi-use; stocks are single use. This is the same garbage that Altman spouts when comparing datacenters to children.

I’ve been telling people this for years and they always respond with homeowner/renter wealth gap data
That wealth gap is because:
1. Most renters DON’T invest
2. Higher income people buy homes
Homeowners only “win” bc they bought and held something, not because it was the highest yielding something
