@NFW987 @ronhung @BoringBiz_ You could likely get close to a PE multiple while maintaining your team & culture by guiding Joe or Timmy to take on SBA backed financing with the remaining 20-30% of EV financed by a seller’s note. You have more leverage in the structuring relative to PE and keep your legacy.

@StevenSattem @ronhung @BoringBiz_ Ain’t no chance Joe from down the street is taking my company for free when I have to loan him 90% of the value and be subject to his leadership vs mine. Nor Timmy the recent MBA trying to make a search fund…Market and sellers would be massively worse off

@ronhung @BoringBiz_ Why is it a problem that someone will buy your business vs no one buying it? Joe from down the street can’t write you a $25mm check to take over your business

@Osinttechnical “Forward base in Iran” Hold on! Since when did the US Military have a base in Iran? Call it a mission location. But what do you mean by “base” ? Did the US military already start ground invasion and that fighter jet was shot while providing cover? Now, the cover is blown.

The things Nebraska residents have that aren't "for everyone": - infinity money to spend on travel - unlimited PTO - teleportation devices - being geographically closer to any point in the USA - the fastest trains, planes, and automobiles - livers that process alcohol faster than any other Homo sapiens in history

The bar scene in OKC apparently didn’t understand what was coming this morning. Lots of places unprepared for the Nebraska crowds that want beer and spirits.

These photos come from inside the Cottonwood Fire burn area in Nebraska. A trail camera owned by Jordan Adams went straight through the wildfire and was left completely melted. When he recovered it, he carefully opened the camera and found the SD card inside was still intact. The photos were saved. They’re date- and time-stamped, giving a rare look at how quickly the fire moved through the landscape. Photos courtesy of Jordan Adams.

It's time to unveil my radical, insane and irresponsible plan to save College Football. My Dream Conference Realignment. College Football will be organized into 9 Power Conferences (and 3 ind.), each of which will have 8 permanent members. Each conference will have 2 flex spots, which any given season will be filled by 2 teams promoted from the "feeder leagues" based on a rolling 2 or 3 year criteria.

After my dad died last fall, my sister and I inherited a few quarters of farmland in NW North Dakota. My cousin has been farming it for decades and asked me if we were interested in selling. I told him we weren't and then I made a deal to buy my sister's half at a fair price. My cousin came back to me and offered me a more-than-fair price. Rather than shortchange my sister, I decided to keep 80 acres and we are going to sell the rest to him. One of the reasons I decided to sell is that this land sits within a 2,000-acre field of his. If I was ever going to do anything with the land myself, it would create a fair amount of tension and it would logistically be a pain in the butt for him. But me spending time back home this fall made me realize that I want to spend more time out there with my boys than I have over the last decade. So I bought a little farm 7-8 miles straight east of my dad’s farm just across the border into Montana and it turns out this farm has some world-class pheasant hunting. I think I might have to build a little lodge out there and host some Fullstack Ag work and play meetings!

Most people use Claude like it’s ChatGPT. They’re making a 50k/ month mistake. Claude isn’t a chatbot. It’s a $100k/yr GTME - if you set it up right. So I built the Claude GTM Playbook I wish I had 8 months ago: Inside: • 16 settings that turn Claude from “assistant” into a $100k/yr GTME • How to build Projects that remember your ICP, brand voice, and winning sequences • Prompt structures that improve output by 60%+ (real examples included) • How to actually use Claude Cowork for GTM • Memory + context systems so you stop repeating yourself • An iteration framework that compounds quality with every request • Advanced workflows for research, analysis, and file creation • Notion, Google Drive, and local file integrations • A persistent Skills library that works across every chat • Quick-win prompts for outreach, LinkedIn, and client deliverables • The mistakes that make your output sound robotic (and how to fix them) If you run outbound, create content, or scale an agency... This replaces 5-6 tools overnight. Reply “CLAUDE” and I’ll send it over.

I think there needs to be a course for guys running small banks. Lesson one: If your stock is trading materially below tangible book value, you buy back stock. Lesson two: refer back to lesson one.
