@AnnemarieBatson @SimonFraser00 So if you come last in the premier league, you get another chance to stay up. But if you finish 18th or 19th, you're just relegated? I'm not sure that one would work, Anne Marie.

@mrmcgeee @ClennellPeter Wouldn’t effect the SCR calculation as the event revenue would still be revenue, we’d just not as much cash as that would repay the debt
English

@ClennellPeter I like the SPV approach, but how would we cope without ticket sales and event revenue etc not being part of our calculations for SCR?
English

Newcastle United could create an SPV-like setup specifically for financing long-term debt to build the new stadium and utilising future income streams for repayment, whilst some additional shares or sukuk-like bonds could be sold (to someone like Sixth Street).

@TheVocalHero @DeanJ223 He built a fence early in the season
English

@DeanJ223 It was there I think late last season or early this season?
English

Would be funny if this still didn't include the land immediately next to the club so that sour bloke doesn't have to remove his shipping container.

We have completed the purchase of a significant portion of the historic Leazes Terrace building next to St. James' Park 🤝⤵️

🚨 UPDATED: Text messages between Southampton employees thought to have provided incriminating evidence of systemic spying
🔎 FA set to investigate & that will likely include Tonda Eckert, sporting director Johannes Spors & analyst William Salt #spygate

English

@SteveG0711 @DanMcMahonF1 As landlords of leazes terrace I wonder if it’s easier to get the approval for making a replacement green space on current site?
English

Still a possibility 🙏. Take Leazes Terrace down, brick by brick. Move it somewhere closer to the RVI. Expand St James' Park on all 4 sides. Keep our history. It would look like the most intimidating stadium in the world 🏟⚫️⚪️ #NUFC

@binnsy1973 @DanMcMahonF1 Aye they are close to the current stand than leazes terrace
English

@kevkennedy75 @ChrisDHWaugh I believe they can be demolished but have to be rebuilt elsewhere
English

@ChrisDHWaugh Given G1 listed buildings can't be demolished is it likely that the buildings may just be used as an income source and, potentially, our future still lies elsewhere?

@Playmaker8u Trippier is retired from England duty - I’m calling BS.
English

@johnheg11 @jordancronin_ @bbcnewcastle Agree on Murphy and Burn but Woltemade played in a position today where he could have got the ball in space. When he did he generally ran in a straight line and lost the ball apart for the Osula chance
English

@jordancronin_ @bbcnewcastle So the future consists of Jacob Murphy starting... Dan Burn left back.... Waltemade starting in a position that doesn't fit the team or himself.
English

🚨 Eddie Howe tells @bbcnewcastle
🗣️“Ant’s come back to fitness and he’s training well, but I’m also looking at the future as well.”

English

@LukeEdwardsTele Result far more important than the performance which is just as well as we were outplayed and lucky
English

Newcastle won 3-1. Dan Burn scored and played well. St James’ Park didn’t turn ugly and fans chanted in support of Eddie Howe.

Magpie Media@MagpieMediaX
Eddie Howe has actually dropped the best young left-back in the world to accommodate Dan Burn out of position. He’s genuinely taking the piss out of #NUFC fans now. I can see this getting ugly today at St James’ Park.
English

@_C_1_9 @FabrizioRomano Aye been given his target for this transfer window hasn’t he
English

@FabrizioRomano Big summer ahead for you being a shill to the top teams as usual, you spaghetti eating dickhead.
English

🚨 Sandro Tonali, not planning to return to Italy this summer despite reports as he’s ready to stay in Premier League.
Tonali is on top PL clubs shortlist and he’s keen on staying in England at the highest level.
Movements soon about his future.

@tarnished1369 @MagpieMediaX @CraigHope_DM No one said it was a new partner, guessing it’s just an extension at a higher value. Obviously worth having but not a major breaking news deal 😂😂😂
English

@MagpieMediaX @CraigHope_DM I worked at St James in 2015 and they used Sodexo then?
English

🚨 MAJOR BREAKING - #NUFC have sealed a lucrative agreement thought to be worth more than £10m with French food giant Sodexo, according to @CraigHope_DM 💣
A new long-term deal for the provision of food and drink at St James’ Park has been agreed between Toon chief David Hopkinson and Sodexo CEO Thierry Delaporte. 🤝

English

@Stui_86 @CraigHope_DM Nope an extension/improvement on the sodexho deal, basically the people who provide catering, hardly a major deal

@matthewastill @AlbonosReds @Villa_Verse He does here, but you confident given how close he is he gets it’s spot on every time, as he kicks it like this every time? I watched him at St James this season and reckoned he handled it twice. It never gets refereed
English

@Steven_D_Rogers @AlbonosReds @Villa_Verse He clearly releases the ball from his hands inside the area and kicks it outside, this is within the laws of the game
English

@AlbonosReds @Villa_Verse He also gets away with kicking the ball outside his box every game
English

@Villa_Verse Probably because your striker is preventing him from releasing the ball. He can’t drop it or kick it when he’s stood there otherwise he’d likely give away a goal. Countdown only starts when he’s not under pressure. Learn the rules.
English

@DaveSmith8882 @CraigNE40 He was shocking today mate. Dreadful from the off, but how he wasn’t pulled earlier is beyond me.
English

@SavMondo Yep, I haven’t been Eddie out, but just don’t see anything changing. We are horrendous to watch, no desire to win second balls at all today
English

Up until the Bournemouth game, I was Howe in. I respect his impact on us during a time when we were facing relegation. Getting us to the UCL twice was outstanding. However, I think maybe it’s time to move forward. Woltemade has been terribly mismanaged. Elanga, what was the thought process there? Wissa? I have no words. Eddie is a great manager but I feel like the road is ending.
English

@MagpieMediaX The chance where Miley back inside was the obvious and easy ball and he passes it straight to their defender 🤯🤯
English

I tried SO hard for SO long to defend Anthony Elanga, but he was given a real chance to impress today - and his performance was right up there with THE worst I’ve EVER seen from a #NUFC player. ❌
Tino Livramento behind him was also pretty dire. The right hand side was pitiful…
