Rogers is a wonderful signing for Chelsea. Can play anywhere behind the striker, PL and CL proven and close mates with Cole Palmer. Guess they’ll both be doing the ‘cold’ celebration next season. It’s a hell of a coup given the Arsenal interest.

Times have changed now and not sure that would cover the gap. The only way to bridge the gap is to try and spend to break into the upper echelons of the league?

Alternative view - these rules are doing something to protect a commercial market from non-commercial actors like states and oligarchs destroying it further. The correct view. Newcastle and Villa could invest in infra and academy to grow organically but nah. Actual business means nothing to those owners.
