Should I count tornadic waterspouts (tornadoes over water produced by supercells), in my “tornado count”? After going back through radar data and reviewing more drone photos, it looks like I saw at least three tornadic waterspouts on May 12. That supercell just kept cycling and producing them.

The potential tornado I saw yesterday in Hudson, Florida has officially been confirmed as a high-end EF0 tornado with estimated winds of 85 mph on May 12, 2026. I had the opportunity to survey the damage alongside the National Weather Service this morning. This marks the third tornado I’ve seen, and the first one I both witnessed and officially surveyed.
