There's a filly running tonight named Percy's Bar. She's named after Percy Pool. A bartender who spent 47 years behind the bar at Keeneland and Churchill Downs. A fixture. The kind of person who knew everybody's name and made every trip to the track feel like coming home. He passed away in 2024. Tonight, under the lights at Churchill, a horse carrying his name will run in the Kentucky Oaks. Some stories deserve to be told. Happy Oaks Day!
