It's mental that people are heavily critiquing The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. It's a kids film, I took my 5yo son to see it today and he LOVED it. It's like they wanted shocking drama, gut wrenching monologues, life lessons, deep metaphors. It's a slightly chubby Italian plumber and his brother in their overalls, on an adventure with a screaming mushroom. That's literally all that matters. It was never intended to be Shawshank Redemption or Ben Hur, was it? I thought it was great, loads of fan service, and introduced a new generation to the amazing Fox McCloud/Star Fox 💙

I really wish they went with something more along the lines of Princess Peach from Paper Mario. Quick thinking and adventurous even if she’s not the strongest around while not being relegated to generic action girl.
I like women who could kick my ass btw, but women also deserve more diverse portrayals.

You know, people probably wouldn’t find these changes so annoying if the people behind them weren’t being absolutely insufferable about it. There’d be justified misgivings, but now you just poured gasoline onto the flame.
I want to see this being said if a woman character is changed to a man, btw. If you’re gonna be this way then surely you have an egalitarian view on it, right?

NOT AI - Spider-Man Iron Suit vs GIANTPENI with help from WHITEFOX
Giant tech robot vs Spideys techies suit! I love getting to do animations like this. I always had a specific idea of how Iron Spider would move and I think we did a lot of cool stuff. Once I knew Whitefox would turn into an Actual giant Fox, I immediately wanted to do a KAIJU fight!
