Non-bitcoin "assets" don't belong on the Bitcoin network. It can't be prevented entirely, but it must be minimized as much as possible. That includes arbitrary data, inscriptions, tokens, stablecoins, etc..

For the people who say they don't like spam, the answer never seems to be to do something about it. Not on the policy level, not on the consensus level, not on any level. But dare you try and limit spam, THEN THEY'LL DO SOMETHING

Why are they fighting tooth and nail to stop BIP-110? It’s a very practical solution. It doesn’t harm the network and doesn’t freeze coins. What exactly is so dangerous about BIP-110? If you’re on the fence, think critically, and ask yourself "who are the bad actors?"

This is the single most important measure of Bitcoin’s decentralization. Everything else—mining distribution, developer influence, pools, etc.—ultimately flows from or is checked by users independently validating the rules with their own nodes. If enough people can and do run nodes, the network remains resistant to capture, censorship, or rule changes without broad consent. It directly enables “don’t trust, verify”.

I think BIP-110 is more likely to win than lose but I gotta say that I am disappointed to hear some Plebs saying they will give up on Bitcoin if we lose and will shift to gold or stocks. Those don’t threaten fiat, they strengthen it or caused it. Put more thought into it plz.
