@PeterRHann1 They just stop the movement but don't bother listing the halts. "It doesn't happen that way..." Well I have been watching this stock for over 5 years. We have all seen things that "don't happen that way" so many times. The stock market is in top 3 biggest lies in US history.

So riddle me this. Hycroft can whip around very quickly. Many other stocks can huge up days. But somehow never run into LULD halts. AMC just had a +8% up move but apparently had LULD halts. Choose your words carefully Trolls.

@PeterRHann1 Strength incentivises compliance. The carrier groups are not just foe dealing with aircraft. They contain ground elements and the ships bring substantial weapons as well. Additionally if something popped off with Iran, other countries could be involved. It's a flex

One thing I am curious about. Less than a year ago Israel appeared to have wiped out Iran's Airforce and anti-aircraft infrastructure. Now, the US apparently needs at least 2 aircraft carrier groups, and over 60% of it operating Awacs planes. Is the new mandate overwhelming force that is likely not really necessary, or has Iran re-armed that quickly?

@PeterRHann1 No expert data to support this but it really does seem that once AMC sold it decoupled HYMC from the BS we've been seeing on both. Will it return, who knows but I suspect it less so as it seems the money has went long on this.

Where are all the Fudsters now? The minute Eric Sprott went on record saying this was a 200 banger and then took enough ownership and HYMC paid off its debt, my conviction went through the roof. There are some that wonder whether AMC sold most of its shares so that the Algos would stop shorting HYMC. I doubt that was a consideration but fk: "There are more things in heaven and earth, Hann, than are dreamt of in your philosophy".

@StockRetail It's a wild possibility that we may get out from under the thumb of China by reinvesting in US production. Needs to happen but there will be extreme resistance to this (both sides). Lots o' money at stake and no one will let go easily. China production is their greatest weapon

So the next logical outcome on Intel manufacturing others’ chips domestically. 1- be cautious about manufacturing in Asia (tsmc, foxcon etc). Probably a watch item, not an urgent concern. It’ll take a while (if ever) to ramp up a meaningful percentage of domestic manufacturing. Don’t overreact but watch whether this is just alleviating capacity issues or meaningfully reducing volumes in Asia. 2- if significant chip manufacturing were to ramp up in the US (and Canada and Mexico), I’d watch how China treats Taiwan. Rn the US would view Taiwan as a security concern. The math changes if we make our own chips. Not a pleasant thought but as a logical connection, it follows.
