@TrumPuns @dom_lucre Canada will always produce far cheaper aluminum due to much cheaper hydroelectric energy and their access to domestic bauxit. All this greatly lowers cost to US manufacturers. You should consider this and ask more questions. The data is very clear

@dom_lucre Tariffs obviously work. I'm tired of arguing with liberals and libertarians (all the libs), they just don't get it.

🔥🚨BREAKING: Century Aluminum CEO Jesse Gary claims Donald Trump’s tariff policy is working. The aluminum plant in South Carolina is surging jobs for Americans paying $125K per year. Gary announces the plant is going back to 100% manufacturing capacity.

@3knees1 @dom_lucre Ask chat got or google the cost of USA aluminum compared to Canadian aluminum and why the later is so much cheaper. And than ask how it effects the cost of a US manufactured car or other products that us aluminum and then ask is this good policy.

The US has been funding the majority of NATO since WWII. The member countries in Western Europe are doing as little as possible to meet their funding and military goals. This allows these countries to offer universal health care, guaranteed basic income, and other benefits the US can’t afford because we follow the rules. We have bases in every Western European country; let’s remove all of our personnel, every scrap of weaponry, vehicles, aircraft, clean out the armory, get every computer and hard drive, and then demolish the buildings. Leave them absolutely nothing to aid them militarily. As my ex used to say, Western Europe has screwed the pooch; let them reap what they have sown.

The U.S. spends ~$100B a year defending NATO and that has now proven to have zero ROI. Israel gets ~$3.8B, and most of it is spent right back in the U.S. defense industry. Plus we’re a real ally. 💪🏽 If you’re angry about American spending on Israel but silent on NATO, it’s not about the money.

@gerardtbaker We don’t have to pull out completely. We can just withhold our funding, even drawing down a good bit of our troops) and let them foot the entire bill. We can move that support to our new Arab partners. Europe will love that.

100 %. I detect a sense of resignation in Europe that there’s no point in appeasing these cynical provocateurs anymore.Rubio and the top military know that pulling US bases out of Europe would be an epic act of self-harm.They won’t say it but the message is: Pull out or shut up
John O'Connell@jdpoc

With all the threats from USA of pulling out of NATO, and pulling out of their European bases, they don’t seem to realise there is a rising ground swell of opinion that they should just do exactly that. Time to call their bluff.

Trump has said he will not invade Canada, backing away from earlier talk of making it the “51st state.” Speaking to biographer Robert Hardman, he joked that Canada’s history makes it unrealistic: “They’ve got 200 years of history and all that ‘Oh, Canada’ thing… you can’t deal with that in three and a half years. I guess it’s not going to happen.”

@MaMoMVPY That is a massive generalization. Have you spent time here in the last three months. People on right, like myself, are very concerned. Trump been losing it for the last couple years. His idea to Greenland wasn’t supported by any major institution and over 80% of the people

@RMConservative We attacked Iran with our secretary of state not consulting Europe and then with the war not going as planned we demand they join. I won’t vote for anyone in this administration, especially Rubio who also was for the annex Greenland BS. Amateur hour.

@EWErickson The incursion into Iran is only success if the regime is changed. That is the only thing you can really judge this on. I hope Trump administration knows what it is doing. I currently have my doubts but I hope for the best.

Both the mainstream media and the Democrats are pretty united in insisting the United States is losing the war in Iran, despite all the objective data points that we continue to outperform and are destroying that regime.

🚨According to The Economist, European allies are reportedly growing pessimistic about keeping the U.S. in NATO after President Donald Trump slammed them as freeloaders. Frankly, America wouldn’t be losing much by walking away.💁🏼‍♀️ They don’t contribute.

Trump has picked fights with Denmark, Canada, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Cuba, Honduras, and Nicaragua. That’s not chaos. That’s a perimeter. Hegseth put it on the record: “Greater North America” — Greenland to the Panama Canal. Every country he’s pressured sits inside that footprint: energy, agriculture, critical minerals, shipping lanes. While Europe splinters and the Middle East fractures, North America has oil, water, farmland, and ports. No bloc can say the same. The Greenland push wasn’t a distraction. It was the northern anchor. Canada wasn’t a tariff dispute. It was a continental negotiation. Global collapse isn’t the problem Trump is trying to solve. It’s the condition he’s building around. (h/t @xueqinjiang)
