The fact that this woman is getting her license back is frankly insane. If you run over and kill someone with your car, you should, at bare-minimum, lose your license and never be allowed behind the wheel ever again.

The consequence for violently killing a child in the street in front of their parents is "driver safety class." No loss of license, car, money or freedom. There is no justice for traffic violence. It is completely legal to kill someone as long as you use a car. @Scott_Wiener

@sfcta @Caltrain Caltrain electrification is an excellent way to get more people to take the train and leave the car at home. @sfcta should not undo this by widening 280, encouraging more people to drive instead of taking @Caltrain . Why create more competition for @caltrain and @bart?

Caltrain gave an update at our Board on @Caltrain Modernization, funded by $41M from #SFTransportationTax and the One Bay Area Grant program. Caltrain electrification b/w SJ + SF, upgrade of signal system, & procurement of electric vehicles project will be completed by fall.
