I read and explained a peer reviewed study in my video, and got my Youtube channel deleted for ‘promoting regulated goods’.
This strike happened at the 0:01 timestamp before I even said a word.
But much bigger channels actually do promote regulated goods, with the full support of Youtube.

Sure, but your message was just the same standard “look at this link” reply, claiming I was promoting regulated goods, when I was simply reading a peer reviewed study.
Meanwhile, Youtube openly and repeatedly supports huge channels selling regulated goods.

After 9 years and over 400k subscribers, my channel was removed after a strike that was flagged at the 0:01 timestamp of a long video, before I even said anything.
I did not even have time to appeal that specific strike before the entire channel was deleted.
I appealed the termination through the standard process, but that appeal was rejected almost instantly.
Strain Show was built around education, science, history, safety, policy, and legal industry coverage. I do not believe the channel violated the rules it was accused of breaking.

@StrainShow @its_liger @TeamYouTube @YouTubeCreators This happened to us a couple months ago, 1 strike away from losing it all is terrifying for any creator who has invested years into content. @TeamYouTube helped reverse one strike for us, but would not on the others even tho they were all for the same nonsense false flags.
