I am extremely disappointed that the court has refused to put a stop to Al-Quds Day, which has long been a venue for antisemitism, hatred, intimidation and the glorification of terrorism. While the judge cited Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, when we talk about rights we need to be clear that every person has the right to safety and security. We need to be clear that no one in Canada has the right to incite violence or free licence to intimidate and hate. The judge also said that Toronto Police Service do not need an injunction to preserve the peace. That's unbelievable! If that's the case, I fully expect that the police will immediately intervene at the first sign of hate, violence or glorification of terrorist organizations. I won't stop working to put an end to the hatred and division that runs too rampant on Canada's streets. I won't stop working to protect the greatest province in the greatest country in the world.

Question to anyone out there: I have a young man (22 yrs old) in my extended family who is able-bodied and smart but literally won’t do anything with himself. Rarely leaves the house, never went to college, has never worked. Will not drive a car. Plays video games a lot. Often doesn’t leave his room when we come visit. But if you talk to him he’s bright and easy to talk to and nice. Could do well in life. Often has undiagnosable mystery ailments that have been used to justify his inactivity but nothing concrete. What is this, really? Anxiety? Depression? I’ve never seen anything like it. All I do is pray for him.

@brianlilley I disagree in order to maintain the Canadian milk food chain at a higher standard than the rest of the world, Canada must have 100% control over its supply management and production. Nobody messes with the an Italian milk supply and that’s why they have excellent cheese.

I think this would be a great idea. You know what will kill it if we don’t change? Dairy. It was dairy that killed free trade talks with the UK. Change doesn’t mean completely dropping supply management but it does mean allowing some trade in the sector.
