@NoJusticeMTG What concerns me is that surely to the average person the concept of being trollied at work is a fireable offence yet MPs act as if they ‘deserve’ it because they works so hard. If they want to get drunk that’s their business but don’t do it until that days proceedings are done
English

We need to change to Australian style questions where the speaker actively intervenes if the minister doesn't answer properly
Politics UK@PolitlcsUK
🚨 WATCH: Green MP Hannah Spencer asks Keir Starmer if he agrees that MPs "shouldn't be drinking on the job" Starmer: "The Greens think their leader walks on water. It turns out that he just lives on water and doesn't pay his council tax" #PMQs

@cezthesocialist Truly the most vibes based government in ages they actually believe that Starmer isn’t unpopular despite everything and everyone telling them he is.
English

Labourites really think they can just claim they’ve improved people’s lives and they will believe it. Their inability to do politics is unprecedented.
Chris Carter@CarterRoutes
Calling Labour the party of corporate elites on the same day we expand workers’ rights and boost wages is about as detached from reality one has come to expect from the Greens
English

@cezthesocialist These people cannot be so naive to think anyone believes this nonsense.

@tinyacd Is it just me or does his hair slowly get more and more off his forehead until at his parents house with Ilya where his whole forehead is now visible, perhaps showing he no longer needs to hide behind himself anymore and that he can show how he really looks to the world!!!
English

@qiansjiaer Can I say that him looking in the mirror is genuinely the most disturbing face Ilya ever had in the show he was a mix between anger, frustration and jealously and it makes him look dangerous yet fragile at the same time. Conner nailed that scene.
English

i think he more than paid for his crimes😭😭

this is the one time i can't defend my friend ilya rozanov

@ilyaarozanovs Remember that he only ever really enjoyed intimacy when it was with Ilya he was down bad from the beginning as was Ilya for him.

'Deaths from lack of care leave the UK ranked 141st out of 205 countries.’
@TomSwarbrick1 calls the NHS's current state 'terrifying'.
English

@ElectionMapsUK @gu41257530 Does this mean that you need to receive at least 16.6% in any constituency to win a seat? Or does D’Hondt allocate by allocating a seat then reducing the threshold to the next top party till all 6 seats are allocated like the top up Holyrood seats?
English

@gu41257530 Yep, 16 Constituencies each electing 6 members under D'Hondt proportional representation.

@implausibleblog Can you imagine the furious outrage if during trooping the colour the BBC paused and said ‘special thanks to our sponsor BAE Systems!’ Most people would be rightly outraged at the blatant corporate corruption during a national event. Yet somehow I’ve not seen any American upset.
English

@implausibleblog Better than expected, seems they have shifted to be more into fiscal expansion than before so investment much more than previously thought. Still some cuts to a few departments but overall good real terms increases.
English

@BritainElects Not bad for a by-election, although worth noting that Scotland didn’t have local elections this year so perhaps more desire for voters in Hamilton to express their opinions.
English

@LBC @IainDale Cumulative inflation since 2008 is 47%. Therefore 22+29 is 51% cumulative. If we round that up to 55% to compensate for last years pay rise that is a real terms increase of 8% over 17 years or 0.47% per year. Yes it’s a big jump but it’s hardly a monumentally enormous increase.
English

@sophielouisecc No Child in the UK should be left behind, least of all because of race, religion or circumstance. Children should never be punished for no fault of their own it’s punitive and cruel and costs the government more in the long run it’s good policy to scrap the cap.
English

@MarcusH_01 I’ve become very fond of the additional Members System as it keeps constituency links while also making sure that smaller parties or parties that fail at constituency level can be represented more fairly, while allowing for majorities in some cases, e.g. Scotland 2011.
English

@electpoliticsuk @Survation Interesting to see reform drop 3 to 4 points in Scotland. Perhaps showing earlier higher polls were just hype polling and not the natural level of support.

@brownliberite Respectfully I don’t think it’s a good idea to tell 1.8 million+ green voters that they are idiots that’s no way to treat voters and they won’t consider the Lib Dem’s if you keep telling them you hate them.
