@JokerEdgeBets I waited until it was a little worse, down 12 or so and got some at 3-1 odds! Fairly stress free down the end tho for +$$!

@andrewjcarr29 @laz_versalles Brackenridge— Tilly in SA; Breckenridge— 27 animal named holes by Jack at a public resort. I might be one of the few to play both so wanted to clarify I think these are separate courses being mentioned.
English

@laz_versalles I enjoy Breckenridge but WTF is your listing based on? Shrooms?
English

@JokerEdgeBets Rockets have no biz being down 10… 18-0 I think Points off Turnovers, should be down more… I think ORL could revert to mean shooting some too

Wisconsin’s @Sand_Valley will open the Commons—its 6th course—to resort play on July 1, but it will be unlike any of the five courses (4 regulation 18-holers, 1 par-3 layout) that preceded it.

@BrendanPorath @fried_egg_golf Aspirational tree placement, some would say.

@SadBadgerFan Janesville is a cool little town- a lot of cool old buildings, homes in that little neck of the woods!

I was going through the archives and gathering up some Lido photos for a buddy of mine, and I just can’t help but do a post of own.
To me, this course and project are just awesome, in a very literal sense - the computer modeling of original Lido by Peter Florey, the attention to detail from Tom Doak and Brian Schneider as they reconstituted Lido to within a meter of the original, and thr the attention to detail, and the deep passion and commitment by Mike Keiser to bringing this lost Charles Blair Macdonald classic back to life, truly leaves me in awe.

@GrayCarlton I assume it’s a marketing thing to be different and be able to have courses, clubs use their rating potentially too “32nd ranked modern course per golf week” and then people check that ranking/site out as opposed to it being 84th, like the others and them using GD, the highest.
English

@StretchZee I don’t understand why they wouldn’t put out more broad lists if they have a public point system. If I can put together a true top 100 list from them that would be great

I put together a web app that combines the top 100 rankings from @GolfDigest, @GolfMagazine, @top100golf, & @LINKSMagazine. Both the US and the World rankings

I’m vibecoding rn

@GrayCarlton I was living off grid at the time so I had time and got into the project and that was kinda always the okay how am I gonna do this speed bump, once I determined the points I said, oh this works really well and is the biggest portfolio of courses ranked— so is actually nice.
English

@GrayCarlton If you want to vibe code some more… they have top 200 modern and classic… but a point system for each based on the same standards… so you can actually go and find the x/100 ranking and kinda make it 1-400. But that took the most work out of it all.
English

@StretchZee I wanted to include golf week but I think they only have niche lists like these:

English

@StretchZee Love it! Looks like you were able to include more publications in yours which is great. I’ve seen a few pop up on Reddit and golfwrx over the years. Hopefully I can just keep mine updated as new rankings come out
English

@JimDHum @farmerofgrass Jimmy comes out of X retirement with an absolute truth. Hope you guys are doing well 🫡
English

@GrayCarlton You did what I did a few years ago - and a far more accessible and talented level that I did. Props for getting it up and going and looking so nice!

English

@GrayCarlton @GolfClubAtlas Contractors like consistency, maybe!?
English

@GolfClubAtlas Is there a reason they built the same bunker 4 times

@AnthonyPioppi @lbt3um @mdvessely @thomasdunne I thought you were saying that was 6 at Lido— reading is hard at times. Cool shots here.
English

@StretchZee @lbt3um @mdvessely @thomasdunne At Ocean Links? That's the sixth hole. The 9th was nowhere near water. That's T. Suffern Tailer's fishing club in the distance.
English

I'm not sure if AI is going to do more harm than good, but hot damn it does amazing things when colorizing old photos. It's not perfect, you have to learn to prompt it, but the results can be amazing. Short Hole (6) Ocean Links, Lido aerial. @lbt3um @mdvessely @thomasdunne
