@BhaaalSpawn What this highlights more than anything is that DA:O had SIGNIFICANTLY more personality and better voice acting than what has been shown from Veilguard.

No matter what it looked like, I was always in day one on Dragon Age: Veilguard. It's just one of those series for me. Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Witcher, God of War, GTA, etc. I was very curious going in, but I'm so happy that it ticked almost all the boxes for me. Loved ▪️Production values have gone through the roof. As someone whose played every Bioware game for like...decades, it looks like a big improvement on what came before ▪️I dig the art style here. I'm sorry, it looks nothing like Fortnite lol. It's got this almost pseudo-painted quality to the character models while also retaining traits of realistic rendering ▪️Particularly loved the soundtrack so far, lots of foreboding tunes mixed with epic flair ▪️Voice acting sounded good, facial animations are great and that HAIR TECH ❤️ ▪️SCOUT HARDING romance has commenced from now 😍 ▪️Minrathous is cool as hell ▪️Loved how busy the world and environment looked. The rain, the demon invasion, background effects, NPCs ▪️Combat looks fun. I've always played Dragon Age as an action RPG, never really bothered with the tactical camera, and Inquisition was pretty much full action RPG to me, so this looks like a further evolution of that ▪️Loved how dynamic the bigger fights are, like the Pride Demon and how the different attacks engage the player ▪️SCOUT HARDING Guarantees ▪️Solas you bastard, your egg head is getting scrambled Questions ▪️Obviously, this was the very start of the game, so things like combat abilities and the like aren't available until later. I want to see how it all plays with more advanced abilities and on higher difficulties in more intense battles ▪️How many choices/decisions from past games are making it through? ▪️How customizable is everything specifically with regards to weapons and armor Overall as a big Dragon Age fan, I'm quite satisfied. I can't wait for launch.

@kalaelizabeth The emphasis on who you can "romance" while ignoring the fact combat isn't party-based anymore is a good indication of the direction this game is going in.

@kalaelizabeth Dialogue is Marvel. "Hold off the demons!" "You got it!!!" Art style is a mish mash of generic fantasy and out-of-place sci-fi. You don't have full party control anymore. The combat is hack and slash + issuing commands. Game looks awful tbh.

The new customizable Ability Wheel - seen here in the early moments of the game - will allow you to control your companions' attacks and unleash powerful abilities. As you progress more abilities will be added. 🌩️ #DragonAge

one of the hardest things about adulthood is feeding yourself. like I have to come up with 3 meals? every single day?? I love food but I would eat a tasteless grey smoothie with all the nutrients needed 3X a day if it meant I didn’t have to come up with meals
