@RobProvince Nirvana may be the most overrated band ever. They were OK, but not incredible. Alice in Chains and Soundgarden, on the other hand, were both fantastic. I do think it was the beginning of rock music dwindling away into the background, though.

Really amuses me the way the citizens of the most powerful nation in the world can’t seem to comprehend a notion like “mutual interests”: Hate to break it to Uncle Sam, but we pipsqueak countries regularly collaborate to resolve problems that we can’t solve in isolation. Neither party needs to be controlling the other. Sovereign counties can have mutual enemies & mutual problems that they decide to annihilate together. Not complicated.

@BowesChay They'd close the bases, and kick out American soldiers. They cant threaten France because they also have nukes. It would be a disastrous option over such a small issue. Better for them to fly around Europe and carry on with their war they started.

As US military Aircraft are forced to "fly around" European airspace to Iran- What would those European countries (and NATO Allies") do exactly, if the Americans just flew over them anyway? Think about it.

One very important thing Americans don't realize is that they're not the richest country in the world because they work hard and come up with genius ideas. It's because they're the world's leading empire with the dominance of the dollar in the global financial system. Take that out of the equation and America is just one more regional power with a bloated military it can't sustain and bankrupt with debt.

It has to be demoralizing for China, Russia, Iranian military personnel to see the lengths that the United States will do to rescue just one service member deep inside of a country where we have zero ground presence. Especially as a Russian soldier.

Hegseth is embarrassing every woke general who preceded him. People can and will disagree about the merits of going to war in Iran. We all have our views. But one issue is not up for discussion: Hegseth's example shames his predecessors.

@IdrisTheGr8t @Adam_FaithfulM What other god was willing to go through painful human experiences, culminating in brutally painful physical torture / death? He could have, yes, but He put his money where his mouth is. Shows us the power of His love, get our attention, & lead the vanguard against Satan / evil.

@Adam_FaithfulM If God is all-loving and all-powerful, why did He need His own son to be beaten, whipped, and nailed to a cross just to forgive us? Couldn't He just forgive without all this torture?

In 1986, the American Medical Association published an article titled "The Physical Death of Jesus Christ". It details the entire process of Jesus' trial to His death on the cross. In Luke 22, before Jesus is arrested, it is written that He was in great distress & sweating blood. Although rare, it is recognized as Hematidrosis, a condition caused by high levels of stress. At the time, the crucifixion was considered the worst death for the worst of criminals. But this is not all Jesus faced. He endured whipping so severe that it tore the flesh from His body. He was beaten so horribly that His face was torn & His beard ripped. A crown of thorns, 2-3 inches long cut deeply into His scalp. The leather whip used to flog Him had tiny iron balls & sharp bones. The balls caused internal injuries while the sharp bones ripped open His flesh. His skeletal muscles, veins, & bowels are exposed, causing major blood loss. Most men do not survive this kind of torture. After Jesus was severely flogged, He was forced to carry His cross while people mocked & spat on Him. Crucifixion was a process meant to instill excruciating pain, creating a slow & agonizing death. Nails as long as 8 inches were driven into Jesus' wrists & feet. The Roman soldiers knew the tendons in the wrists would tear & break, forcing Jesus to use His back muscles to support Himself to breathe. Imagine the struggle, the pain, the courage...Jesus endured this reality for 3 hours! The Gospel of John writes that after Jesus' death, a Roman soldier pierced His side with a spear & blood & water came out. Scientists explain that from hypovolemic shock, the rapid heart rate causes fluid to gather in the sack around the lungs & heart. The accumulation of fluid in the membrane around the heart is called a Pericardial effusion & the lungs is called a pleural effusion. To the world, Christianity is as foolish as it can get. They believe it's for the weak. But when you are confronted by the reality of the cross, it's clearly not a pretty sight. It is brutal & horrific. This is the weight Jesus carried. The weight of the sins of the world, all so that we can live. God's wrath is fully satisfied in Jesus. This is what it took. Repent & believe! Jesus is “God among us” in the flesh. Jesus is our Savior. Jesus loves you so much that He went through this spiritual and physical punishment for your sins and mine. Jesus is the LORD, Almighty God, Everlasting Father. Thank You, Jesus.

71 days. I counted every single one. Then last night happened. I am not going to explain it. I am not going to make it make sense. I just want you to know I am telling you. Not performing recovery. Not curating a journey. Telling you. 71 days was real. Last night was real. Today is day one and that is real too. I am not a guru. I never was. What happens next is the proof.

In Succession, Brian Cox hated Jeremy Strong’s method acting and found it annoying. “If you can’t separate yourself, you get worn out. He was Daniel Day Lewis assistant. That’s where he got that from.” Strong said: “Brian earned the right to say whatever the f*ck he wants.”

Bryan Johnson is the worst and most dangerous health guru one can follow, stay away from his advise at all cost: - basically reduced to promoting hallucinogenic drugs now which will damage countless people - knows nothing about development of energy or consciousness - knows nothing about the true keys to longevity: cultivating chi (energy) and jing (essence) - keeps promoting drugs to expand consciousness with all the risks of bad energies or entities hooking on and devastating effects on people that will try without proper energetic protection. Has zero knowledge of the subtle bodies (astral, etheral) - is on a weak vegan diet that makes him even more depleted - but you want the ultimate evidence? just look at the guy? does he look healthy? what does your intuition tell you when you see this pale weird talking guy locked in his home who is freaked out about everything related to a truly happy and healthy life....there you have your answer i have studied his data, read all his posts, and i will give you one very very strong tip: stay away
