Employee: I accepted an offer with a 95% base salary increase and guaranteed yearly salary cycles as long as I meet my performance goals set by my manager. 48 hours later... Boss: We will match the 95%, please stay, we need your work! Employee: Unfortunately, it’s too late. Friday is my last day. Leaders of organizations need to understand their teams’ motivation every month. Every employee is motivated by different things in different periods. Take care of your good employees before it is too late

@Stujhodgson @HighwaysNWEST 1. Post massively understated delay times. 2. Show you photos of the traffic you are parked in. 3. Deploy the UK’s entire Traffic Cone reserve. 4. Post old yellow Diversion signs at 10 mile intervals out of your line of sight. 5. Pretend tomorrow that these timescales are normal.

The #M6 in #Lancashire is CLOSED northbound between J31 & J32 near #Preston due to a collision involving a lorry which has come to rest on the central reservation. 2 lanes are also closed southbound. 35 min delay north and 60 min delay south. Diversion: nationalhighways.co.uk/travel-updates…

A further reminder of the severe impact on traffic this evening resulting from a full closure of the #M6 north between J31 & J32 following a collision and diesel spillage. #M61 north and #M6 north are experiencing severe congestion as are local roads in #Preston.
