@jack71457 Yeah maybe you could argue that but what makes us think he would be loyal to chelsea it was a job at the end of the day - i was never a maresca fan and never will be but if you had the option to go to a job paying more with a better team/support would you not entertain it?

@NiiNiiFC Hard to say - without truly understanding the environment. The comments from the board around mangers having no correlation on results - you could imagine that attitude would be grating for him if he was exposed to that train of thought while at the club.

Now that Maresca has reached a verbal agreement with Man City, the question is Did Maresca snake it to land the City job? Or was he pushed out and this move is justified?

Lots of City fans crying over Maresca, enjoy him and his slow back passing /side passing football. Also please enjoy the fact he don’t know how to utilise a squad accordingly.

Strasbourg manager Gary O’Neill has publicly called out Blueco after tonight’s 1-1 draw, stating that the team was weakened in January instead of improving, he needs TWO top strikers and an improvement in culture and depth.

@Blue_Footy Well the main % of ownership is clearlake... they invested a lot... of others peoples money. And anyone with a brain could see the path they had chosen wasnt going to work? So far they clearly havent changed because they are too egostical.

It's funny how people keep telling themselves that Chelsea owners can never change direction and make necessary adjustments. This is a business to them. They invested a lot. If they are convinced it's not working, of course, the will make amends just like anyone would do in his business. Some people are just living in their heads and agenda devoid of reality. I just hope they do that as early as possible before it's too late. But I'm 100% sure they will make necessary adjustments. They are not stup*d, dumb or blind. I believe that adjustment will happen this summer. Just wait and don't be judas.

🚨 BREAKING: Chelsea dressing room unrest grows as Stars eyes summer exit after PAY CUTS Major tension is brewing inside the Chelsea squad after confirmation of hefty wage cuts next season due to missing out on the Champions League. Top earners face slashes of £30,000–£40,000 per week, and sources say frustration is spreading fast as the summer window looms. Enzo Fernández is reportedly unhappy with both the team’s struggles and the financial blow. With no new contract agreed, the Argentine is now open to leaving Stamford Bridge. Marc Cucurella is also unsettled, with interest growing from Spain and a potential La Liga return on the horizon. This unrest comes as Chelsea still weigh up Andoni Iraola and Marco Silva ahead of the FA Cup final — adding even more uncertainty. From a source close to the dressing room: “The project feels stalled. The pay cuts have created real frustration… some players are already thinking about the exit door.” Big summer incoming at Stamford Bridge. Sell Enzo Fernandez & Cucurella or fight to keep them?

@the_salty_one_ I guess it’s every dairy, every bottle O, service stations. Just about any small business. They pool their money together to buy these businesses. Kiwis don’t do that, every man for himself.

🇮🇹 Now in London there is a crazy idea. Chelsea would even be thinking about the return of Antonio Conte. He has a contract with Napoli until June 30, 2027 and the FIGC also likes him for the role of coach of the Italian national team, but Chelsea wants to try at all costs. (calciomercato)

🚨🔵 Pedro Neto reportedly ignored repeated instructions from Liam Rosenior during Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton. Rosenior was said to be urging Neto to attack directly, take on his man and be aggressive in 1v1 situations, but the winger instead slowed play down and drifted away from the tactical plan. When players start ignoring instructions during matches, it usually suggests a deeper issue than just tactics. Chelsea fans — is this poor discipline from Neto, or a sign the squad has stopped responding to Rosenior? 👀

🚨❗️Behdad Eghbali on the model and adding ready made players: "The view was to recruit and build elite players that can, frankly, be together and have that stability in the squad. We’re still in the 40th, 50th minute of that process. But the view is to keep, sign and retain and compensate and extend some of the world’s best players, and ultimately the view was you need, eight, 10, 12, 15 elite players to win and win sustainably, year after year." "I think we’ve done a few things right, a lot of things right. We’ve got to be better on a few things, to add more ready-made players at this part of the project, to take (it ) to the next level, to be consistent over time." "We recognise we need balance. We have world champions, we have Champions League winners, we have elite, elite young players. Experience has developed now. The team has been together for two or three years. The objective is to keep your best players, and we’ve done that, and there’s no intention to rebuild every three or four years. You tweak a model, you improve, you learn from mistakes." "Our goal is to have elite, elite players on the pitch, elite characters off the pitch that our fans can bond with, that will be at the club, that will be club legends for the next 10 or 15 years and beyond. I think, generally, we’ve been fortunate, not in getting everything right, but we do have a core (of) good players, global players. Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, Levi Colwill, Estevao Willian, Reece James." "The view is now that we’re here with a great core base, to add some of that experience, to take the team to the next level and have consistency. That fact is not lost on us, and we’re at a point where we can take that next step, hopefully in the next year and beyond." (@liam_twomey) #CFC
