We don’t need to be obtuse yes the board could’ve supported him better but when you talk to other clubs especially domestic clubs 2 months into a season then go on to manage said club it’s a very poor look and people are right to be upset

@NiiNiiFC Hard to say - without truly understanding the environment. The comments from the board around mangers having no correlation on results - you could imagine that attitude would be grating for him if he was exposed to that train of thought while at the club.

Now that Maresca has reached a verbal agreement with Man City, the question is Did Maresca snake it to land the City job? Or was he pushed out and this move is justified?

@Blue_Footy Well the main % of ownership is clearlake... they invested a lot... of others peoples money. And anyone with a brain could see the path they had chosen wasnt going to work? So far they clearly havent changed because they are too egostical.

It's funny how people keep telling themselves that Chelsea owners can never change direction and make necessary adjustments. This is a business to them. They invested a lot. If they are convinced it's not working, of course, the will make amends just like anyone would do in his business. Some people are just living in their heads and agenda devoid of reality. I just hope they do that as early as possible before it's too late. But I'm 100% sure they will make necessary adjustments. They are not stup*d, dumb or blind. I believe that adjustment will happen this summer. Just wait and don't be judas.
