Within 1 to 2 years they will most likely have to stop loss leading.

My partner just had surgery and @AnthemBCBS is prior-auth delaying her pain meds, so she’s just in agony pleading with them. Same week they denied a prior-auth for my RX because they claimed my dr office’s appeal letter wasn’t an appeal by their definition. Should be so illegal

Not, completely. The incentives of the insurance company is to pay as few claims as possible ie if they could avoid paying anything they would. They are contractually obligated to pay but that doesn't precude them from placing numberouse halts and hurdles in the path of potential payments in, primarily, the hopes that urgency or despiration will case the persuit of expensive claims to be abandoned.

its gonna sound like i have my nose up my own ass (and maybe i do, who knows) but i genuinely think if you can park yourself beside the truth, not kinda there, not "at least im not as wrong as that guy" but actually BE CORRECT about a thing, you can withstand any social blowback.
