How can an airline charge for a seat and then not assign it? That means they are charging multiple passengers for same seat or bumping off paid passengers to give free seats to their staffs relatives @IndiGo6E . Pls look into this - i am certainly curious how this happens

Crude oil prices have crashed over the last couple of years, just look at the trend. But tell me honestly: have consumers seen even ₹1 of relief at the pump? NO. Instead, Centre and States quietly jack up taxes, milk fuel prices, and use the extra cash to fund freebies, vote-bank schemes, and political optics. When global prices fall, prices in India don’t. When prices rise, they’re hiked overnight. This isn’t economics. This is shameless exploitation of citizens to fill government coffers. What a disgraceful system we are forced to live in.
