Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the devastating wildfires across France, Spain and the UK. We are deeply grateful to the firefighters, emergency services and volunteers working tirelessly in extraordinarily difficult conditions. @ztisdale @kevinolearytv I truly believe that if we became a US Territory, then we would prosper economically. Trading in USD, etc. The nice part of that is being able to keep our current 'items' like heathcare and rrsp/tfsa investments. Nice to have it all transferred at par. It would be a dream!

I guarantee the United States and Canada will eventually unite their economies out of economic necessity, not by giving up sovereignty, but by eliminating tariffs, strengthening trade, and creating a more competitive North American market. Canadians will remain Canadian, Americans will remain American, but together we can build an economic alliance strong enough to defend our shared values, compete with China, and secure the future of both nations.

Guessing you’re in the top percentile of income or thereabouts? Perhaps your peer group is generally high SES? Not a lot of regular Canadians drinking Pappy Van Winkle or Napa Chards. But every poll indicates about 80% passionate opposition to Trump’s attacks on Canada, and a desire to push back. This is one small way people can do so.

Out of all of the people I know, not a single one supports the alcohol boycotts. I call BS on the pollsters.

I’ll never stop fighting to protect Ontario. If these tariffs proceed, Canada should respond tariff for tariff, dollar for dollar.

@jontaffer @Forbes I believe that part of the problem is that big restaurants think that everyone comes back and comes back and when they have a bad service that it just doesn't happen to them - wrong. We took my daughter to Red Lobster for her birthday and everything from food to service sucked.

I introduced the CANADA Act to direct USTR to investigate the Canadian provinces’ discriminatory treatment of American alcoholic beverage producers and pursue enforcement under our trade laws.

I wanted her to be with her friends and have fun and do the things she enjoys but she gave everything up to be with me and help me with everything. I didn't want her to give up her 'childhood'. @KensingtonRoyal My biggest support came from my 16 yr old daughter. She gave everything up (friends, everything) to be home with me and take care of me through everything. From housework, to meals to helping me bathe and get dressed. Without her, I wouldn't be here today.
