@sturdyAlex Does it depend on when and how it's done? Would input on employability training and supported placements as part of discharge planning be useful? My daughter was in psychiatric inpatient care when she was under 18 and education are a key plank in that.

@sturdyAlex Maybe a misunderstanding with ‘ward’ a clumsy shorthand for ‘in receipt of mental health services’. That said, MH services would always wish to have the resources to include employment support for patients at the right time for their health. This has the ring of a gimmick

I just finished reading Tess of the d’Urbervilles. I started it without any idea of what it’s about and now I feel a bit sad! I’ve not read any classics. No reason other than I had better things to be doing with my time when I was young! What others should I try next?

I still don’t feel like I can really make sense of her - what forged her creativity, her steeliness, her extraordinary resilience. Why those choices?

@Hepworthclare Political Parties are funded by donations in cash & kind. No appetite for taxpayer funding of Pol Parties. Campaign spending is a matter for the party provided rules/limits are observed & no conflict of interests. Show me the conflict or else this is all confected nonsense.
