Chelsea making Xabi Alonso manager not head coach is a massive statement of trust. As a club, we needed it. And like I said previously, Alonso and Fabregas are the kind of coaches I would give the keys to make decisions at Chelsea without worries. This is a new dawn.

Some Imp Concalls: Q4FY26 - 13th May 2026 1. SPR Auto: Antolin EBITDA targeted from 9-10% acquisition base to 20%+ standalone levels within 3 years via synergies, insourcing, and new programs. 2. Shyam Metaliks: FY27 EBITDA guided ~30% YoY growth (approaching Rs 3,000 crore ±5%), driven by volumes in pellets, CRM, and aluminium plus captive pig iron cost savings. 3. Tanfac: 1st ever concall: FY28 revenue guided Rs 1,600-2,000 cr; existing business EBITDA margins to recover to 15-18%, with HFC-32 adding 3-4 ppts upon ramp. India HFC-32 demand doubling to 45-50 KT in 4-5 years on RAC growth (16-17% CAGR) and low-GWP transition; solar DHF demand rising 6-8x. 4. DRL: FY27 guidance: double-digit base business growth ex-Lenalidomide/Semaglutide; Semaglutide incremental; R&D at 7-8% revenues; capex Rs 2,000 crore. Q4 FY26 was the first post-Lenalidomide cliff quarter; shelf stock hit (Rs 453 crore) now absorbed, reducing near-term drag. 5. Cohance: FY27 guidance: Q1 weakest on revenue and EBITDA; Q2 stable; H2 accelerated growth across all three segments. Middle East logistics disruption and raw material cost escalation pressuring gross margins by 100-150 bps in near term. 6. Dixon: FY27 revenue guided Rs 56,000+ crores (15-17% growth ex-Vivo); absolute profitability rising despite PLI exit and component investment lag. Near-term tone measured; Vivo approval timeline uncertain, backward integration investments creating margin pressure before FY27-28 payoff. 7. V-Guard: FY27 EBITDA margin trimmed to 10% vs prior 11-12%, citing prolonged commodity inflation from West Asia conflict hitting aluminum and polymer costs. 8. Neuland: Management reaffirms 18-20% CAGR over 5-year horizon but warns FY26 margin tailwind from favorable forex will not repeat. No specific quarterly guidance given; management explicitly flagged business lumpiness and advised 10-12 quarter rolling evaluation horizon Sagility: FY27 guidance: low double-digit organic CC growth, 24-25% adj. EBITDA margin (upper end if forex holds), full debt paydown by exit. No explicit Q1FY27 number given; deal timing uncertainty on larger wins suggests uneven quarterly cadence likely in 1H FY27

@DefenceBrat Lol asking citizens to carpool & use pathetic public transport while PM travels on 30-40vehicle convoys, same goes for every other CM. Instead of cutting LTCG & stcg to attract FIIs investment @nsitharaman would increase STT in budget, way to go Madam

Instead of making India worthy enough to attract more foreign tourists and become a global tourism destination, we are asking Indians to stop going abroad. Sounds similar to a board meeting where, instead of focusing on increasing revenue, the entire discussion starts with cutting costs.
ANI@ANI

#WATCH | Gujarat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi says, "The moment the holidays begin, children are handed tickets to go abroad. The trend nowadays is to travel overseas—often for destination weddings. There are many people here who do not send me invitations anymore; they used to send them in the past because they would hold their weddings abroad, but now they are stopping that practice. This trend of destination weddings abroad is growing rapidly; however, consider the fact that this entails a significant expenditure of foreign currency. Ask yourselves: are there no places within India where we can spend our vacations, where we can teach our children about our history, where we can take pride in our own local sites. It is essential that we celebrate our vacations right here in India; furthermore—even when it comes to weddings—I do not believe there could be any place more beautiful or sacred for us than our own India..." PSG are through to the UEFA Champions League final and can win back to back Champions League titles! 💡 Remember Luis Enrique’s team sent Chelsea a detailed presentation outlining his project and player development plans. However, he also wanted greater control over transfer policy, that was overseen by our Sporting Directors. Paul Winstanley and Lawrence Stewart, we will never forgive the sins you have committed.

The fact that Xabi Alonso hasn't ruled himself out of the Chelsea job gives me a lot of confidence. It's up to Chelsea to offer him favorable conditions that will entice him to take the job. We missed Nagelsmann, missed Enrique; we can't miss Alonso. Just do whatever it takes to sign him and get this project up and running again. He's the ONE!

This Chelsea win proves the point Rosenior had lost the dressing room sometime back players didn't trusted him or his tactics, honestly his appointment was a disaster but the owners seems to have learned nothing from Potter time in CFC & again went for a inexperienced guy🤦

Antonio Conte shortly before Chelsea last won the FA Cup in 2018: “You are very worried about whether a player is happy or not. This is not important. My first task is to do the best for the team and the club. Not to make every player happy. Otherwise we’d risk finishing 20th in the table.”

@Imsonali0 What do you mean he was selling it for 42k,,what's the mrp of the product? Is he selling above mrp, if that's the case then it's wrong, otherwise there is always some discrepancy between online & offline prices, you can't say he's scamming people just because price is more

Yesterday, I went to an electronics shop and my attention went to an AC priced at ₹38,690. But in the market, shopkeeper were asking around ₹42,000 for the same model! When I told the shopkeeper that he was charging too much, he replied, “It won’t be available for less than ₹42,000.” I told him clearly that online it was available for ₹38,690, and if I bought it using a card, I would get an additional discount as well. I said, “This is outright unfair—you’re overcharging people who don’t know the actual price.” The shopkeeper responded rudely, “Buy it if you want, otherwise don’t waste my time.” Honestly, it feels like there’s looting happening everywhere these days! There’s hardly any honesty left in the market—only unfair practices. Since I knew the correct price, I didn’t buy it. But someone who doesn’t know might easily get overcharged by such dishonest sellers.

If I were Chelsea, I would do anything to get these two [Simon Rolfes as technical director and Xabi Alonso as head coach] together at Chelsea and hand them this project. It's like when City brought Aitor "Txiki" Begiristain and Pep Guardiola together. It's priceless to bring a sporting director or technical director and a coach that knows each other's game inside out. That combo will never disappoint you.

But that is offset by lower (and simpler) compliance efforts (and therefore costs). There is no friction. 5 different ETFs with a foreign broker, rebalanced every year = 5 sets of capital gains, with every trade converted from USD to INR and 5 rows in schedule FA. One reporting error and there is a flag. Cannot ignore the cost (and headache) of compliance in India. I won't even get into GST (0% in GIFT city, 18% on Indian advisor representing foreign brokers) Larger point: analysis is premature and incomplete.

GIFT City's active global funds are off to a rough start — and the data is hard to ignore. 🧵 1/ Every single active fund in GIFT is negative over the last 6 months. DSP Global Equity: -12.4%. PPFAS PMS Global Strategy: -5.6%. Marcellus GCP: -5.5%. Meanwhile, ACWI TRI was +0.7%. That's not a small miss. That's a different direction entirely. 2/ The "Since Inception" picture isn't prettier. DSP is -12.5% since Sept 2025. PPFAS is -2.6% since Aug 2025. The only funds with positive since-inception returns (Marcellus at 18.6%, Philip Int. at 7.7%) have multi-year head starts — and even they lagged ACWI TRI over 1 year. 3/ On a 1-year basis, Marcellus returned 8.9% vs ACWI TRI's 20.7%. Philip Int. Pioneer returned 21.9% — one of the few bright spots. Mirae? -11.1% vs benchmark's +20.7%. Brutal. 4/ Now let's talk tax. GIFT funds are structured as Category III AIFs. They pay tax at the fund level — ~42% STCG & 14.95% LTCG vs slab rate or 12.5% for an individual. 5/ If you instead bought a UCITS ETF (say, an Ireland-domiciled S&P 500 or ACWI fund) directly via the LRS route, capital gains tax kicks in only when YOU sell — and at your applicable slab rate or 12.5% for long-term. The fund itself pays zero Indian tax. 6/ So with GIFT active funds you get: ❌ Active underperformance vs benchmark ❌ Possible cash drag ❌ Fund-level tax leakage you can't control 7/ With a direct UCITS ETF investment: ✅ Near-zero tracking error to the index ✅ No fund-level tax — you control timing ✅ Lower cost, higher transparency 8/ The case for passive international investing has never been clearer. If GIFT funds can't beat ACWI TRI in a falling market (when stock-picking supposedly shines), when exactly will they? Story by @PosteAnil thefynprint.com/GBlfw8FDX
