Her name was Vasundhara. She was a nurse at a government hospital in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh. She had once been in a relationship with a doctor named Karunakar, a colleague at the same hospital. When Karunakar chose to marry a fellow doctor named Shravani, Vasundhara did not move on. She began planning. On January 9 2026 Dr Shravani was riding her scooter home from the hospital when a motorcycle deliberately rammed into her from behind. She fell and sustained fractures. Two women arrived at the scene immediately, presenting themselves as helpful bystanders. They helped the injured Shravani into an auto rickshaw. One of the women was Vasundhara. Inside the auto rickshaw, while Shravani sat injured and disoriented, Vasundhara injected HIV infected blood into the back of her neck. She had procured the HIV infected blood from the government hospital where she worked, using her access as a nurse. Shravani felt something was wrong. She immediately told her husband what had happened. Dr Karunakar filed a police complaint. DSP Babu Prasad’s team traced Vasundhara through CCTV footage, technical evidence and witness statements. She was arrested along with her accomplice Jyoti and Jyoti’s two children, who had helped stage and execute the attack. Investigators found that Vasundhara’s motive was workplace jealousy and the inability to accept that Karunakar had chosen another woman. Dr Shravani is currently undergoing treatment. She was riding her scooter home from work. She was injected with HIV because her husband’s ex colleague could not accept his marriage. Repost this. Some stories must not be allowed to disappear.

A marriage fraud case has come to light in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, where a newlywed woman was allegedly found to be already married. Ratan Sharma, a resident of the Naka Chandravadani area of Gwalior works as a team leader in the emergency department of a private hospital in Jabalpur. His family had been searching for a suitable bride as all five brothers in the family were unmarried. The family alleged that their neighbour, Sonu Tiwari, introduced them to a man named Sonu alias Ajay Chauhan from Morena. Chauhan allegedly claimed that he was looking for a groom for his poor foster sister, Radha alias Diksha Mudgal. After meeting the woman and approving her photograph, the family agreed to the marriage Ratan came from Jabalpur to Gwalior for the wedding ceremonies. On April 27, 2026, Sonu Chauhan allegedly attended a ceremony as the bride’s brother. The marriage was solemnised on May 7 in Gwalior according to Hindu rituals. The complainant said the family spent nearly Rs 7 lakh on the wedding. After the marriage, the bride moved into the groom’s house in Gwalior. The family later became suspicious because she was constantly chatting on her mobile phone. When Ratan checked her phone one night, he allegedly found WhatsApp chats showing that Sonu alias Ajay Chauhan, who had posed as her brother during the wedding, was actually her husband. After discovering the alleged fraud, the family took the bride to the police station and lodged a complaint. Police have registered a case against Radha alias Diksha Mudgal, Sonu alias Ajay Chauhan, Maya Devi, Shilpi Parmar, Raghavendra Parmar, Satyendra Chauhan and Sonu Tiwari. Police sent the accused woman to a one-stop centre, while Sonu Chauhan has been taken into custody. Police teams are searching for the remaining accused.
