Despite the chill, a group of transit advocates gathered outside Metro Transit HQ Thursday night to protest impending service cuts. Metro Transit blames the cuts on the lack of drivers, but this group says the agency should improve service, not diminish it.

Many of our comrades were brutally arrested in front of @GovTimWalz mansion. No other group of protesters have ever been met with this violence, even some with guns. We are excited for our friends to be released and will meet them with joy!

Yesterday, water protectors blockaded @GovTimWalz’s mansion. Cops came in riot gear, assaulting peaceful #stopline3 activists, hitting one on the head with a baton. 69 were arrested - and are still in custody. The Governor spent the day at the fair.
