My ideal AI design tool probably something like:
A canvas tool, where you can get any view of your app rendered to edit or use as the starting point for a new view. You can freely explore, duplicate, and make changes visually.
You could start these renders from other tools like @linear. User feedback -> render the screen to be edited.
It would have design language, system and product guidance files that help guide the overall design based on your product.
Each artboard carries metadata, like the origin of the view, who created it, what changes was made when, so you could query things across your whole team.
You could create areas that you want AI to fill or complete. Fill this list, complete the columns with this data or using this screenshot or something.
Edits in the artboard are tracked as a diff. You export those diffs as a plan for a coding agent to build against your actual codebase.
The design tool agents keep check-ins with the coding agent and try to communicate the nuances of the design so it gets built as a prototype.

I have other things to build 😅. Also building a competent canvas design tool is not easy.
I think @figma has most of the hard parts built, now they need to figure out the agent context and ai workflow part.
I don’t need more vibe design tools. currently use 0 of them because there is never a design I’m doing which is like “design an iOS habit tracker for me”. It always an addition or change to something existing.

@Supanova_ @iammSunnyBoss when you go to relume.io, sign up, add to design style and select the color and type face you want but to import the design style into figma you need to download the relume plugin on figma to import it.

What I do for my workflow that allows Claude (inside cursor) to get the design almost perfectly:
Design in Figma > Paste into Pencil dev (I use this in cursor too) > Prompt Claude by pointing to the frame in pencil and tell it to build.
I’m still currently stress testing this. Pencil still has some shortcomings but so far it has been really good.
And most times it one shots it.
