Calling all Venture Studios: stop doing more. Just do less EXCEPTIONALLY well. @JoinAtomic, @highalpha & @ScienceInc superpowers have the same recipe: Valuable, Repeatable, Scalable, Compoundable. It's not Daft Punk's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", but damn if it's not still helpful.

How do I best prepare my Venture Studio startup for its first external fundraise? It's a question I get a lot, so I wrote a post (see below) and shared a (not thaaaat) quick video about it. Long story short, to turn investor concerns about the studio dynamic from headwinds to tailwinds, founders must be prepared with strong, thoughtful answers on cap table structure, the studio’s super power and long-term role, team leadership roles and future funding participation.
