The federal government on Saturday dismissed charges against a Utah plastic surgeon accused of throwing away Covid-19 vaccines, giving children saline shots instead of the vaccine and selling faked vaccination cards. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a post on the social media platform X that charges against Dr. Michael Kirk Moore, of Midvale, Utah, were dismissed at her direction. Moore and other defendants faced up to 35 years in prison after being charged with conspiracy to defraud the government; conspiracy to convert, sell, convey and dispose of government property; and aiding and abetting in those efforts. The charges were brought when Joe Biden was president. "Dr. Moore gave his patients a choice when the federal government refused to do so," Bondi wrote. "He did not deserve the years in prison he was facing. It ends today." Felice John Viti, acting U.S. attorney for Utah, filed the motion Saturday, saying "such dismissal is in the interests of justice." The trial began Monday in Salt Lake City with jury selection. It was expected to last 15 days. Messages sent to the U.S. Department of Justice, Viti's office in Salt Lake City and to Moore were not immediately returned Saturday. A federal grand jury on Jan. 11, 2023, returned an indictment against Moore, his Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah Inc., others associated with the clinic and a neighbor of Moore's. The indictment alleged more than $28,000 of government-provided Covid-19 vaccine doses were destroyed. They were also accused of providing fraudulently completed vaccination record cards for over 1,900 doses of the vaccine in exchange for either a cash or a donation to a specified charitable organization. The government also alleged some children were given saline shots, at their parents' request, so the minors believed they were getting the vaccine. Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., a leading anti-vaccine activist before becoming the nation's top health official, posted his support for Moore in April, saying on X that Moore "deserves a medal for his courage and his commitment to healing! - Borowitz

I'm a Canadian Citizen unfortunately. I have ZERO pride for Canada. 0. I'm just a tax slave here and it's going to end. My family is counting the days until we get the fuck out of here. We HATE Canada. Our sadness phase is over. Just pure hatred now. Sound familiar to you ?

We know low income families file their taxes because they need their benefits every year. Why isn’t CRA filing taxes of the Wealthiest people in Canada to make sure they are paying their taxes in Canada and not using loopholes so they pay their fair share???

🚨 ALLOW ME TO SHARE A VERY RAW TAKE —If Charlie Kirk was my son-in-law, I would tell his daughter to sue every media outlet, every representative, and every social media maggot who made death threats and called for this. 🚩I think she has a wrongful death suit, and these folks will not stop till you take billions from them. I would poison the root of the finances. Bill Gates George Soros If you can get this in front of a jury, the new generation of voters and jury participants are giving away massive nuclear awards. 👉I would sue CNN and MSNBC in a company-killing manner. This is the way you change things. When the pain of staying the same is greater than change, you'll change. They cannot call for the killing and targeting of our presidents and trusted voices, our champions, and guides. 🇺🇸Need to administer some financial pain to the people and institutions who called for this. 🇺🇸And, the Kirk family should be compensated for the loss of a loving husband and a caring father.

This is an incredibly weak list of “Major Projects” of national interest. Carney spoke of building big and building fast. This is building small and mediocre and approving projects that would be going ahead anyway. We’ve been sold a bill of goods.

Charlie Kirk wasn’t controversial in any normal way. He was only controversial on campuses because some people don’t want to hear even mainstream conservative ideas on campus. No one says this about mainstream liberals. It’s that simple.

Charlie Kirk’s murderer is a 22yr old student who said Charlie preached “hate”. He was brainwashed by leftist extremism in academia & online. He will, rightfully, receive the death penalty once convicted. When leftists call political opponents ‘Nazis’—it has real consequences.

Pierre Poilievre was asked if the $25 Billion sent to Ukraine is justified while Canadians are struggling. Poilievre responds that "the best way to put Canada first while helping Ukraine is to sell our oil & gas in Europe." Is this a good answer? WATCH:

@SunShine33finds @IAmBecomeDrink @sirDukeDevin Stop drinking the Kool-Aid. There are not enough workers today (and MAGA actually wants to significantly reduce the workforce) and the Gen-X, Gen-Z don't want to work in factories (as a rule). It is going to cost 10+x to manufacture in the US. Are you willing to pay?

@IAmBecomeDrink @sirDukeDevin That’s just your personal opinion, the truth is it’s still unknown how much it will help, but trillions have been pledged and factories built in USA 🇺🇸 that would have not otherwise been there had Trump not pledged to keep and protect American jobs

Most Great Lakes are in the US, the source of the St. Lawrence River. Perhaps a subtle hint to Canadians: we could reduce water flow to this vital economic artery. Not official, but between the lines, it’s a reminder—lakes and river are interconnected, and we have control over this key waterway
