@Peston Thanks for the clarification because I’d read it had something to do with her hounding political opponents for tax avoidance (legal) over the years and then trying to obfuscate to hide her rank hypocrisy. Still, it could have been worse. She could have been caught eating cake.

The entire story of Angela Rayner’s humiliating departure from government is that she failed to follow the recommendation and suggestion of two legal firms that she get expert opinion on the correct amount of stamp duty to pay when purchasing her apartment in Hove

Commendably creative defence of Michelle Donelan for running up a £15,000 taxpayer-funded libel* bill from Penny Mordaunt – Donelan's decision to decline redundancy pay after serving about 36 hours as education secretary "speaks volumes about her character".

Starmer bragged in parliament about how, as head of the CPS, he was in charge of prosecutions & how the buck always stopped with him. Funny then that whether it’s failures over the grooming gangs, Jimmy Saville, John Worboys or the Post Office he’s always missing in action.

@fesshole As a Dr you have a choice to make when hearing some crap lie of a story. Do I challenge patient and have an argument? Do I accept the bullsh*t and treat the pathology (which I’m going to do anyway) without pissing off the patient? Easier life 9 times out of 10

I once visited a sex worker and picked up a rare tropical disease. I managed to convince the doctors, work and family it was from a local Chinese restraunt.

@rec777777 @JeremyVineOn5 @GBNEWS @BBCNews @BBCRadio2 What is a fair wage? What would Govn do to wages if they knew they could be set at any level and you couldn’t strike? Do you think it’s correct for a soldier to keep us all safe, risking their life for £20k/yr? My FY1 junior left med Sch with £95k debt - is that fair?

@AvonandsomerRob @MarinaPurkiss Depends how you define achievement and what you do with your position… But due to Johnson essentially giving out gongs to sycophants like sweets - incl Mr F - it reduces their significance

@susanstanwix Can we not re-run what the Daily M plastered across its pages for 14 days in a tragic bid to discredit KS - that failed. Johnson lied to Parliament…nothing more needs to be debated. (He further lied on multiple occasions to the public re Brexit - but that’s a different pt)

I’m confused, why is Johnson in trouble for being with people he spends all day working with, yet Starmer goes to a different town, mixes with virtual strangers , eats and drinks with them but that’s alright?

Grandfather is in a care home because of Alzheimer's. He was the most mild mannered, gentle and kind man that you could ever possibly meet. Now it's turned him into an angry, abusive and sweary racist and I wonder whether that's what he actually thought all along.

Boris was not at any parties. But the journalists on a Friday night would have a piss up and they became very debauched. This took place in No 10. The spads would go. Boris was not in the building he always went back to Chequers and did not know what went on.
