I miss old Twitter! Sorry, I don't buy all of this overwhelming unconditional Trump support I'm seeing over Twitter the past couple of months, it stinks of bots and forced algorithms (likely due to Musk). And why do I keep seeing Musks posts when I don't follow the dingbat! 😡

Starting today and until U.S. tariffs are removed, Ontario is banning American companies from provincial contracts. Every year, the Ontario government and its agencies spend $30 billion on procurement, alongside our $200 billion plan to build Ontario. U.S.-based businesses will now lose out on tens of billions of dollars in new revenues. They only have President Trump to blame. We’re going one step further. We’ll be ripping up the province’s contract with Starlink. Ontario won’t do business with people hellbent on destroying our economy. Canada didn't start this fight with the U.S., but you better believe we're ready to win it.

Recreation of the Galaxy class MSD. The colors are slightly modified versions of the original colors to simulate the effect of being backlit though the black plexiglass they used on the show. The panels underneath were actually the Helm and Conn LCARS with a few changes!

@ajf541 The cross-section of the ship is actually the original illustrator file used on the show, with a few minor corrections and color tweaks (fixed a few anomalies and shape overlaps). Indeed, I believe the ship could be piloted from engineering.

@StarfleetDesign For sure, I didn't add it to this image, but I usually add a slight inner shadow to simulate the backlights as well. It really does make the images feel more like they did in the show.

@galaxyclassproj I'd imagine the prototype would be constructed in a more specialized area. That said, even today modern warships are pretty much made in the open. It's the internal stuff that is more secretive anyway, not the outer shell of the ship.

By privately, meaning the initial builds being inside a space dock due to complexity of the build, versus later builds as we see in VOY moving into orbit, or fitting out in orbital facilities while initial build inside a fully comprehensive dock.

This scene makes perfect sense & I still think it’s one of the crowning pieces of ‘artwork’ in TNG. Keep the newest, most advanced ship class that reconfirms everything you stand for, by building and testing the first six of class privately.
