Fetcham mill pond & Common Meadow, Leatherhead - 2f Pochard on the pond, Brambling, Little Grebe, 3 Little Egret, Kingfisher and first Goosander of the autumn on the Mole.

Nice walk around Thursley Common this morning before the masses arrived. No hoped for Ringtail or Shrike but was compensated by finding this beautiful European Hornet sitting in the sunshine. No’s of Red Kites were again impressive with in excess of 20 birds. @SurreysWildlife

This awesome little Grass Snake made a quick appearance as it darted across the water at the Richmond Park pen ponds! Managed to grab a few sharp shots before it disappeared.

Great Egret south over W Molesey this morning. From the missing/short primary on the right wing looks to be the same as the SNCP bird on Weds (& presumably Beddington?)
