When I made this post, I truly believed it was a long shot. Living in Arkansas, we’re not always able to make the trip to Arlington National Cemetery every Memorial Day, and there’s always a little guilt that comes with that. But seeing complete strangers offer to visit Alan, leave flowers, take photos, and say his name when we can’t be there ourselves has honestly overwhelmed me in the best way possible. This comment section restored a little piece of my faith in humanity today. I’ve always been proud to be an American, but tonight I’m even prouder knowing there are still so many people who refuse to let our fallen be forgotten. 🇺🇸

This is probably a long shot, but if anybody happens to be in DC this weekend and plans on visiting Arlington, I would love to see a fresh photo of my husband’s grave in Section 60. SSG Alan W. Shaw Section 60, Grave 8451 B Co 1/12 Cav, 1st Cavalry Division November 10, 1975 - February 9, 2007 There’s just something about knowing people still stop by, still say his name, still remember. 🇺🇸⭐🇺🇸

"Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it. It flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it." - Anonymous I took this photo on my last trip to DC as I walked these sacred grounds. Such an overwhelming sight. Remember them on this day. #MemorialDay 🇺🇸

@EricLDaugh Mayor Frey loves creating division. He's as anti-American as they come. Even Cory Booker put out an appropriate, non-political, pro American post rightly honoring our fallen heroes on Memorial Day. 🇺🇸 x.com/i/status/20589…

This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. We will never be able to repay the debt we owe them and their families, so we must instead carry the ideals they died for–Freedom, Liberty, and Justice–forward, every single day.

The American people believe the system is rigged, we have to recognize that pain and lead a way out of it.

@laralogan @KeriA1776again I liked the farmer’s observation. Grass takes carbon from the air. Cow eats it and releases it back into the air. If not, when the grass dies in the autumn, it rots and carbon is released into the air. The cow isn’t the problem.

Alternative Perspective
@laralogan You forgot about the Ostriches that got sick and recovered. They had to kill them to prevent people from realizing birds can get sick and then recover. Imagine humans catching the flu and having to be eliminated.

Thanks to Judicial Watch, our lawsuit just uncovered New York City’s multimillion-dollar FEMA spending spree to house and feed migrants. $188 million spent on illegal aliens instead of border protection. @TomFitton

Stole a $100 bag tried using our cards and it ended up costing $750 because we didn’t want to report insurance. Fuck this place. We just moved a couple days ago and I couldn’t be happier.

Everything is “racism” now because Democrats have exhausted the ability to defend outcomes. Redistricting? Racism. Voter ID? Racism. Border enforcement? Racism. Questioning policy failure? Racism. Disagreeing with Democrat power structures? Racism. It is the most overused political shield in modern America. And notice the manipulation here… They never discuss whether districts are compact. Whether populations shifted. Whether representation is constitutionally balanced. Whether both parties gerrymander when in power. No. The argument immediately becomes emotional moral theater: “You’re racist.” Why? Because once you accuse someone of racism, you no longer have to debate policy outcomes, economic collapse, failing schools, crime, or decades of political failure. And the irony is staggering… The same party screaming about “power grabs” dominates nearly every major institution: Corporate media. Universities. Entertainment. Federal bureaucracy. Large city governments. But when Republicans redraw districts after census shifts and demographic changes, suddenly democracy itself is ending. People are tired of the hysterics. Especially Black Americans who are increasingly asking: “If your leadership has been so successful… why are so many communities still suffering after generations under your control?” That question terrifies them more than any district map ever could. #SilentMajoritySpeaks #AStoneGroove

Dear LA Times, it is NOT “safer in Los Angeles than it has been in decades.” That line only works if you ignore the number of people who have simply stopped reporting non-violent crime. When your home is burglarized and it takes an hour or more for police to show up, people stop reporting. When your car is broken into and you know nobody is coming quickly, people stop reporting. When filing an insurance claim might raise your rates or jeopardize your coverage altogether, people stop reporting. So the official numbers may go down, but that does not mean crime went down. It may mean trust went down. It may mean response times went up. It may mean the system trained citizens to absorb the loss quietly. THIS IS NOT SAFETY.  This is surrender. In the Pacific Palisades, we had 1 POLICE CAR for 27,000 people because our non-violent crimes were considered secondary... those included forced break-ins.   On the day of the fire, we had no police sirens.  At 3:30pm driving through the Palisades, we had nobody visibly directing traffic. LA TIMES REPORTING GRADE = F- Sincerely, Jeremy Padawer PacificPalisades.com #losangeles #la #crime #insurance #fyp @spencerpratt @415FirePhoto @Hotshot_Movie @latimes
