I have spent my life being proud of this flag 🇮🇪... Goosebumps singing Amhran na Bhfiann at Lansdowne Rd during the 5N as a child. So excited when we won a single bronze medal in the Olympics. And as an 11 yr old, when Dana won Eurovision.. and as an avid fan, all the Irish victories after. Always, always, so proud of any Irish global win. But now, what do I see when I look at the 🇮🇪 flag? I see this.. 🇦🇪 I see hatred. I feel numb... an alien in my own land. As we approach Eurovision 26, there is no 🇮🇪. A self-imposed exile that will achieve nothing but cement our new international reputation... No longer about the craic, the warm welcome, the tolerance.
