Today people from dozens of groups came together to demand MPs vote against yet another round of anti-protest powers.
The government intends to give police the power to restrict protests based on their so-called ‘cumulative disruption’.
The government has been transparent with this: these powers are being pushed in response to the mass national marches for Palestinian rights.
But this proposed change would impact all of us and our ability to protest, for whatever cause is most important to us.
Our right to protest must be defended. ✊
