In conversations, you provided valid reasons on why you didn’t at the time. Without police reports, people will not get arrested.

I still can’t believe that nobody was held accountable for the incident with @nicksortor at the ICE facility in Portland. Everything was recorded and still nobody was held accountable. This is why people are afraid. The violent left mob mentality is running Multnomah County. It’s well past time to speak up, Portland. Stop the anarchy. This is beyond embarrassing.

@BenBikmanPhD Since I followed you and others, I have been inspired to eat more salads and vegetables (and less carbs). My energy has increased. The increase in energy is the reward. I don’t crave carbs.

GLP-1 medications are powerful and need to be used responsibly. I strongly believe they should be used at a lower dose and cycled with the purpose of learning to control carbohydrate cravings. Remember, like with every drug, there's a diminishing returns, when the drug becomes increasingly less effective if a high dose is maintained. Have an "off ramp", where a person can see test whether they've learned new habits and overcome the cravings for carbs.

@SuzLopez I think many would benefit from traveling through the Eastern portion of our state. Their values are the same; their needs are different & often overlooked in OR politics.

@cfdiatport @PDXReal1 Hi Di, There is some nuance. In Mississippi, students have to demonstrate reading proficiency before advancing to 4th grade. Mississippi 4th grade reading test scores don’t include students who have been held back.

@PDXReal1 Our schools are at the bottom of the heap. Look to why Mississippi has soared ahead.

Of course graduation rates are higher when the system you helped create has no actual requirements to obtain passing grades.

@BenforOregon Some businesses have closed in Clackamas county. The price of retail rent is high. A conservative builder who resides in Clackamas county has shared with the community how the tariffs have impacted his business.

The data aligns with what we all see with our own eyes.

@Sec_Noem @jonkarl Through your leadership, there is a lot more support and desire to help people work and live here legally. Defunding ICE used to be an extreme position. With the abuse of power that ordinary citizens are seeing, demands for ICE to be defunded will be more mainstream.

It must be exhausting to regularly manufacture outrage even over the most commonsense statements. Yes, we must build election infrastructure that makes it easy and secure for eligible American citizens to vote—while preventing non-citizens, including illegal aliens, from casting ballots. The choice of who to vote for is obviously up to the voters themselves. So here's the real question for @jaketapper @jonkarl and anyone else clutching pearls over this: Do you actually support allowing people who are in this country illegally to vote in our elections?

Multnomah county, not the City of PDX, outsources to hundreds of non-profits. They don’t seem to have a sense of urgency.

@Twolfrecovery What does being a Republican and Democrat mean anymore? If Reagan was running, he wouldn’t be electable (Republicans wouldn’t support him). In Oregon, Portland’s left think Oregon’s progressive governor is actually a Republican.

This is the main reason Trump is president. Democrats would be wise to pay attention. If Newsom wins in 2028 and opens the flood gates, Dems will be out in '32 and won't be back for awhile.

@Twolfrecovery 2 If systems and institutions are not creating prosperity for people, people will not want to keep them. Wealthy democrats have been able to endure this Trump period because their stock portfolio is generating $. Many young people don’t have this advantage.

@Twolfrecovery 1 When the boomers are no longer with us, and younger people will have more representation, we will most likely see radical changes (regardless of party). The current systems and institutions are not creating prosperity for many younger people.

@calleymeans Japan has lower labor costs as students are involved in the work.

Japan doesn’t have obese kids. It’s the height of cynicism for the media and lobbyists to argue fat and sick American kids is inevitable - which they do to keep status quo. Japan spends less on school lunches than America, and they barely grow food in the country.

@calleymeans In the U.S.. students have about 15 minutes to eat lunch. Speed is prioritized.

@calleymeans In Japan, kids can walk to school. Walking is normal and safe. The U.S. is more car dependent. In Japan, everyone eats the same meal. In the U.S, there are choices to accommodate vegetarians and food allergies.
