@BerkshireGirl71 @MrsButters abuse occurs in all church denominations and non-denominational. Churches must stop protecting predators from legal justice. Its not enough for them to apologize and "get forgiveness" they need to be locked up and retrained so they dont abuse again

@MrsButters Shame on all those kids parents too. I'm sorry that it happened to them, but where were their parents?? I grew up in the 70's 80's.... My father would've put some serious shit down if anyone tried to hurt me. Or my 3 older brothers. This country is out of control. Sad but true.

Women. How old were you when a man first made an inappropriate advance on you? I'll put mine in the comments. Men. This isn't for you, just sit tight, no need to comment.

@BerkshireGirl71 @MrsButters Ssingle mothers working 2 jobs somehow can ALSO be next to their children at school, at afterschool, at sports practice, at youth church events etc. Responsibility is for everyone. Especially churches where so much abuse goes on! Baptist, catholic, JW, non-denomiational.

@MrsButters starting at 11/12 was scared to walk busy streets to school even w/ a friend.a guys would yell obscenities about my body and what they would do to me. at 12 a 40-ish coach at a school swim party commented on "my assets" - disgusted and scared me - I was skinny barely developed.

BREAKING: A new whistleblower report alleges that a former DOGE member claimed he kept his SSA computer & credentials w/ “God-level” access to SSA systems. Yet the “Save America Act” wld force every state to rely on a voter-purge system dependent on SSA data, creating a national election security threat. 1/

I read the “Save America Act,” so you don’t have to. Most of the media apparently *hasn’t* read it because, if they had, they would be sounding the alarm about the provision in Point 1, below, which almost none of them have even mentioned. I hope this helps raise awareness. 1/

NEW: There is no MAGA split on Iran. Poll after poll show that ~85-90% of MAGA Republicans support the US strikes on Iran. *Many* news outlets ran with stories from Tucker, Bannon, etc without checking if they represented any meaningful segment of GOP voters. They don’t.

Great men of history had little to no introspection. The personality that builds empires is not the same personality that sits around quietly questioning itself. @pmarca and I discuss what we both noticed but no one talks about: David: You don't have any levels of introspection? Marc: Yes, zero. As little as possible. David: Why? Marc: Move forward. Go! I found people who dwell in the past get stuck in the past. It's a real problem and it's a problem at work and it's a problem at home. David: So I've read 400 biographies of history’s greatest entrepreneurs and someone asked me what the most surprising thing I’ve learned from this was [and I answered] they have little or zero introspection. Sam Walton didn't wake up thinking about his internal self. He just woke up and was like: I like building Walmart. I'm going to keep building Walmart. I'm going to make more Walmarts. And he just kept doing it over and over again. Marc: If you go back 400 years ago it never would've occurred to anybody to be introspective. All of the modern conceptions around introspection and therapy, and all the things that kind of result from that are, a kind of a manufacture of the 1910s, 1920s. Great men of history didn't sit around doing this stuff. The individual runs and does all these things and builds things and builds empires and builds companies and builds technology. And then this kind of this kind of guilt based whammy kind of showed up from Europe. A lot of it from Vienna in 1910, 1920s, Freud and all that entire movement. And kind of turned all that inward and basically said, okay, now we need to basically second guess the individual. We need to criticize the individual. The individual needs to self criticize. The individual needs to feel guilt, needs to look backwards, needs to dwell in the past. It never resonated with me.

@davidsenra @pmarca How did we get from "greatest entrepreneurs" to "great men of history" That's a little self-serving. We all know Capitalism self-selects for sociopaths and psycopaths.

@atrupar The real challenge isn’t the initial application; it’s the bureaucratic process that follows. Blackburn’s comment reflects a common talking point: that the barrier is technological literacy. But the evidence suggests the barrier is bureaucratic complexity. It's misdirection.

Marsha Blackburn: "For people to say, 'Well, it's so hard to get an ID' or 'It's hard to get a birth certificate' -- I would introduce them to the internet. Because applications can be made online, in every state you can get the necessary documentation. It's imperative that people prove who they are to vote in our elections."

The Labor Secretary is under investigation for having an extramarital affair w/a staff member, her husband is barred from the building where she works b/c he's accused of sexually harassing two women and oh yeah, her top two staffers just got fired for unethical behavior

VARNEY: If you add it all up, it doesn't look good for the Trump economy LABOR SECRETARY LORI CHAVEZ-DeREMER: I couldn't agree with you. Overall, we've gained 60,000 new jobs over the last two months

BREAKING: This is some 1930s Germany rhetoric by Greg Bovino. He’s claiming that Alex Pretti was killed because he made the choice to listen to politicians and journalists who vilified ICE after they murdered Renee Good. Bovino warns the media that there’s consequences if they say bad things about ICE. This is what happened in Germany. Don’t let it happen again in America.
