SPENDA CREATED A SOLUTION TO MOST OF THE CRIES ABOUT P2P ON SOME CEXes!
Here is what I feel about this product and what community can do, community has the power to demand for explanations from any product they use!
There’s been a lot of conversations yesterday about transaction fees on Spenda (yes, the app we all know and many of us use).
Let’s set the record straight. A few years ago, centralized exchanges were notorious for slow, risky P2P trade and yes, scams were too common, most of you have stories about how you battled scammers on some CEXes!
Spenda coming into the game made swapping assets for fiat seamless, send your asset, receive fiat, done. No waiting, no risky vendors. Yes, they charge a clear 1% fee. This was known from day one.
I’ve used Spenda extensively. It’s fast, safe, and has saved me from the old P2P headaches. Now, if you think 1% is too high, here’s my take: ask Spenda.
They’re community-driven. Voice your concerns, suggest changes. And hey, if someone can build a similar product with a lower transaction fee, competition will make things even better.
If there is a better product, bring it forth let’s try it and talk about the exciting features, no hard feelings, the space just wants or demands safety and transparency!
Instead of bashing, let’s ask, innovate, and improve. In the end, we all want smoother, safer transactions.
My honest opinion, by the way I was excited about this product back then because of the solution the brought to the market, 2025 transactions of mine were done on SPenda 😅😂
