The two dogs were destroyed by police. This is never an easy decision for any officer to take, but we have a duty to act where necessary before any further injury is caused.

@MPSTowerHam The dogs were in no way shape or form aggressive. Any dog with a protective instinct would bark if their owner had 8 people shouting at him/her. Even when he let go of the lead, the dogs didn’t do anything & they didn’t attempt to hurt anyone…

A man has appeared in court charged with two dangerous dog offences following an incident in Commerical Rd #E14 on Sunday 7 May.
Officers were called to reports of a woman and her dog being attacked by two other dogs.
