@GMoney662 @PolitiBunny Please explain how a US citizen makes it to age 90 with no ID or documents - no job, no bank account, no SS, no Medicare? Never owned a home, rented, or moved to a care facility? Old people have most of that stuff LOCKED DOWN with both paper and electronic copies.

For shits and giggles, I decided to see just how hard it would be to replace my birth certificate, Social Security card, AND my marriage license, since Democrats think women are too stupid to figure it out. Here's how it went: 1. Birth certificate: Contacted the health department of the county where I was born. They OVERNIGHTED a certified copy to me the next day - total cost, $14. 2. SS Card: Contacted Social Security on their site. They asked if I was sure I needed the card, since I 'won't likely be asked for it.' I went ahead and got it - took five business days to arrive - total cost, $0. 3. Marriage License: Went to the 'vital docs' site of the county where we were hitched. Filled everything out online, arrived in three days - total cost, $5. It cost less than $20 to obtain all three certified/legal documents, and it took less than five business days to receive them. Note: if I had lived where I was born or married, it would have been a day. Tops. Anyone telling you this is too hard or unfair is lying and hiding the real reason they want to stop Voter ID. I know you guys knew that already... lol

@luinalaska @AvrahamAdler This whole thing is wild. If you were going to accuse citizens of a US state of being unprepared, non-resilient, and unable to deal with challenges… Alaska is the absolute LAST state that should come to mind.😂

You mean places like this where I’ve worked as a case manager with Alaska Natives in the smallest villages in the state? Like those people? My daughter’s tribe is a village of 47 people in the interior of the state off the kuskokwim river. You mean like them?

@LundukeJournal Uk could easily block 4chan in their company. But instead they want to try fining an American company for not adhering to THEIR rules? Seriously what in the world

The United Kingdom has demanded that 4chan pay a £520,000 fine for failure to comply with UK age verification laws. However, since 4chan is based in the USA, the UK has no jurisdiction to fine Americans in America. “As has been explained to your agency, ad nauseam, the United Kingdom lost the American Revolutionary War. We are not in the mood to discuss the matter further, and have not been in the mood for 250 years.” The letter to the UK’s Ofcom ended by suggesting that “maybe, you could just stop sending Americans stupid letters and acknowledge the sovereignty of the United States.” 4chan’s attorney, @prestonjbyrne also included a picture of a giant hamster dressed as Godzilla.

@JMcNallyBooks I still have that edition of Hester Skelter! I first read it in grade school - the California described in it seemed unimaginably wild and exotic to me. I’ve been a true crime obsessive since then too.

@RealLifu @Polymarket Well, yes. Why would a country want poor tourists? There also needs to be a disincentive against any tourist overstaying their visa.

It's almost impossible to imagine today, but 50 years ago, Beirut and Tehran were major stops on the hippie trail. They were bastions of freedom and creativity young people traveled to in search of themselves, while fleeing the constricting societies of the West...

@TMZ We shouldn’t be surprised! Remember, the Royal Family moved her seat so that she could be more closely watched - presumably to prevent recording - during the platinum jubilee. There is NO ONE she will not try to sell out for her own benefit.

Actual Marine Corps law enforcement and security policy on this: "If you can shoot with sufficient accuracy to only wound, then make certain you kill." Yes, really.
OfficialDreTony@OfficialDreTony

@geneohms @TonyLaneNV I didn't see a gun in the passenger's hand. All I heard was "stop" repeatedly. If the passenger really had a gun, why couldn't 5 officers, FIVE, just shoot the passenger's hand holding the gun. I mean, they were face-to-face with the passenger shooting him like a video game. 🫤

🚨 NEW BODYCAM FOOTAGE RELEASED The traffic stop that went viral now has bodycam showing what actually happened. Deputies in San Marcos pulled over a red Hyundai Sonata for a vehicle code violation late at night. While checking the car, they noticed registration inconsistencies and damage to the steering column, raising suspicions the vehicle could be stolen. Then things escalated. Police say the 33-year-old passenger ignored repeated commands, rolled up his window, reached toward the floorboard, and armed himself with a semiautomatic handgun. Officers safely removed the 21-year-old driver, but the passenger refused orders to drop the weapon and raised the gun. At that point, five deputies and an officer opened fire. The man was pronounced dead. The original video sparked intense debate online… but now the bodycam is adding new context to what unfolded. After seeing the details - what’s your conclusion? ⬇️ 🇺🇸

@indieg2022 I don’t think it’s bad even if Catherine DID change colleges to meet William. He was the most eligible bachelor in the world at the time! It’s not like she, oh, dumped her boyfriend, became a “humanitarian”, completely dropped her family, like someone else we know….

I am reading Russell Myers' William and Catherine-and something caught my eyes. Contrary to the popular belief, Carol was against the idea of Catherine going to St Andrews. And Catherine chose St Andrews because she made a friend who was going there & was influenced by her.

Many years ago I was a brand new baby nurse. We had a 700+ lb patient. His belly weight shifted when he rolled and fell off the side of the bed. It was a slow drip and the physics meant the rest of him was going down to the floor soon. He tried to hold on. My natural instincts kicked in. My 118 lb body tried to step in and push him back in bed. There were maybe 4 nurses there at this point. My boss physically pulled me back away from him. She said STOP!!! I was surprised. I said, “he’s going to fall!!!” She looked at me like I was insane. He fell. She said, “you almost got crushed under 800 lbs trying to be a hero. There was nothing you were going to do but get hurt.” That mean old woman saved my back. Queen.
