That was a lot of hype for something simple but I’m happy regardless. No more weird lid open moving around sessions. Start task, close lid, move, open, continue.

@paularambles Under contacts on your phone it's probably only syncing to gmail. You need to go to settings > apps > mail > and set only one account to sync the contacts (choose your iCloud account) and make sure its set to sync and that should fix it

but i’m unfortunately getting to the point where i’ve now memorized most of my friends' numbers

i play this game on my work laptop where the messages app is connected to my personal icloud but contacts don’t carry over, so every incoming text becomes a fun challenge of how little context i need to identify the sender
