Tomorrow @mikaela__caron and I are recording the next @swiftovercoffee episode. Our open ballot is nice and easy, and we’d love your input: what new features from #WWDC25 are you most excited about? Reply below and we’ll feature as many as we can!

@BenjDicken I’d like to see how Swift fares in this.

More languages, more insights! A few interesting takeaways: * Java and Kotlin are quick! Possible explanation: Google is heavily invested in performance here. * Js is really fast as far as interpreted / jit languages go. * Python is quite slow without things like PyPy.

@realMaalouf When you categorize an entire culture by instances of extremism, you’re either myopic or you have an agenda.

A MusIim girl posted a video on TiK Tok dancing without a hijab. The next day, her brother beat and tortured her into wearing the hijab again. Sick culture!

@everton_dev I’d say it depends on the context but if this DTO is mapped directly to the DB model (or whatever the source is) you may want to reconsider

Like playing scramble? Make a function to dump all possible combinations for a given letter set. The list goes on.

I’m actually playing around with a chart framework right now to do my budget. I have mixed feelings 😅

For anyone actively learning programming here’s one tip that helped me. Don’t consider it as another TODO. Mix it in with your current TODOs, e.g. if you like keeping monthly budgets, replace the notebook with database entries. Burnout is less likely. #programming #CodingLife

With the advancement of AI, how long will it be until video evidence is not allowed in the courtroom? 🤔 #ai

POV: 15 mins of struggling to answer a question is better than simply defaulting to be told the answer, even if that's the eventual outcome. You'll at least have a stronger hold on the new knowledge.

@NickADobos @supabase Just ran into this, although for me it has nothing to do with Auth, I’m only using their db features. I suspect something funky with how Supabase is handling concurrency.

Has anyone used @supabase auth in a iOS app? With their swift SDK? I’m having massive issues, like 1/3rd of people can’t sign in cuz the sign in link refuses to work. Which for a product whose entire goal is signing in…. Just comes back with a “cancelled” error

It’s much more advantageous to try and understand the mindset of the original author. What were they trying to achieve? What constraints existed at the time of writing? - Ask, ask, ask. If complexity is a maze, questions give an idea of its structure.

Just at about 2.5 years EOY and my biggest reflections are: - I viewed testing as a chore. Now I view it as the default way to validate a diff. - Before when trying to understand a certain block of code, I would think very literal, just thinking like the compiler…
