When Tesla FSD pulls straight into my driveway at home instead of backing like I prefer (so I can hook into my charger more easily), I noticed that if I just navigate to my home again it will back out, go forward a few yards, and then reverse in like I want it to.
Apologies if everyone knew this expect for me. Wouldn’t be the first time and won’t be the last. Just thought it was a nice touch from FSD.

@stimpdimpy @BillyM2k Or they were experienced, old, and made a mistake. 😑

@BillyM2k Cave diving is beautiful and awesome but needs to be executed with the proper training and respect for the dangers.
The people who died were neither trained to dive in caves nor did they have the proper equipment for doing so.

@BillyM2k One of the most frightening inverview clips I can remember is Cowboy Cerrone telling Joe about almost dying while cave diving.

Most people spend their whole life waiting.
Waiting for Friday.
Waiting for the weekend.
Waiting for their two weeks of vacation.
Waiting for permission to finally enjoy the life they’re working so hard for.
That reality never sat right with me.
The sad truth is, a lot of people give their best years, best energy, and best hours to help build someone else’s dream. They trade their time for a paycheck, help grow a company that may not even remember their name one day, and then hope they’ll finally get to enjoy life later.
I could never accept that.
For me, Saturday and Monday feel the same bc I built my life around freedom instead of escape. I didn’t want to live for the weekend. I wanted to build a life I didn’t need to run away from.
That meant grinding when others relaxed.
Taking risks when others played it safe.
Looking crazy early so I could live differently later.
And I’m not saying it was easy. It definitely wasn’t. There were lonely days, stressful days, and plenty of moments where people probably didn’t understand what I was doing.
But that’s the difference.
Most people want freedom, but very few are willing to pay the price for it early. Very few are willing to think long term when everyone around them is chasing short-term comfort.
I chose the harder, faster road bc I knew the normal road wasn’t for me.
And today, I’m grateful I did. Bc my life no longer revolves around weekends, vacation days, or waiting for someone else to tell me when I can live.
That’s the mindset.
And that’s why there are so few like me.

@eDexterAi @SawyerMerritt Yes fake oil changes with free coffee and popcorn! Comes with real oil drips too! Their service shop refills a reservoir with used oil (for authenticity) and they have a slow drip that targets a refill every 10k... so you have a real oil stain on your garage floor!
English

@SawyerMerritt That's exactly what i'm looking for fake V8 noises in my next EV, I wonder if they simulate fake gear shifts as well or simulate fake oil changes and maintenance so I can have the dealership service experience.

@yunta_tsai Depends on what the things are.
For example, I'd rather read about plagues, natural disasters, and black holes from books.

@DirtyTesLa @DylanW913 Do you think it'll work in a parking garage by ending of the year? Like go to 3rd floor and park in same spot for example?

Noland Arbaugh’s life has been completely transformed
“I can control a computer with my thoughts”
As the first human to receive a Neuralink brain implant, the man who was once paralyzed after a diving accident is now:
• Playing video games for hours using only his mind
• Earning a 4.0 GPA while studying neuroscience in college
• Running his own business
• Building a thriving speaking career with paid keynotes and global appearances
He’s traveling the world, inspiring audiences, and even writing a book - all powered by a brain chip
What used to be science fiction is now reality
Neuralink is not just restoring lost abilities - it’s unlocking the next chapter of human potential

@DirtyTesLa @AIDRIVR There are two speed limit control pathways that I'm guessing are outside the FSD stack. Valet mode (50% pwr and 70 top) and the Speed Limit Mode (50 to 120) still in the app.
-Keep Speed limit as Top if used.
-Build offset % that is based off the displayed Speed input...

English

@DirtyTesLa @AIDRIVR Exactly. There is zero reason for this crap. It can't possibly be "too hard" as someone from Tesla says.
Build speed limiter / offset, etc outside of the FSD stack just like the valet / kid / rental limiter is. Unless thats now in the AI stack too! 😬
