I don't think that one technology must attach itself to one vision. While I like weird and impossible, I still think storytelling is N1. This debate is ongoing till the birth of mankind and I think it will never be solved. I agree that, having this tech that can visualize dreams, we should chase them. I also believe weird per se is not bringing us anywhere. I'm talking in general and absolutely not about the video you are sharing, which is fascinating for sure

Perfect example of how the best and most intriguing ai video right now is NOWHERE near chasing Hollywood. Realism and the basic structure of normal reality is already covered by film. We don’t need realism AI films as much as we need truly NEW and original never before visualized scenes and worlds with the help of AI video. Anyone not building in the direction of the impossible are not only wasting their time, but yours too.

Fake job offers is the new bait for gaining followers and reach. Perfect strategy together with AI bot replies. While valuable content gets annihilated by the algo. Sad. ( Let's try to send this message using some algo friendly tactics, still using my 2043 IP and @dreamina_ai CPP Power)

@ChrisGwinnLA Yeah, I feel you as I also work with my ip. Workarounds are a must but sometimes theres none apparently. Such a beautiful model tho. Sooner or later hopefully all its power will be unleashed

Seadance 2 is the best video model available right now, but it can be a nightmare to work with on longer projects (series or long-form films). The censorship has just killed the workflow and reliability of the model (I have access to a less-censored version via the Dreamina CPP and it's still very stressful to use). I quite often create an interesting video that I would like to return to and develop into something longer - but the AI moderation will block future attempts at generating videos for various nonsensical (and completely bogus) reasons. I only work with original AI-generated characters - I never use other people's IP, celebrity images, or even look-alikes of celebrities (to the best of my ability - I don't know every actor in the world) - and many characters are even created by Seedance 2, itself - but when I try to generate new videos with them, Seedance 2 will flat-out refuse, claiming I am breaking community guidelines (usually means using celebrities), using improper images (gore, NSFW, etc - which I don't do, either), or a variety of other lame excuses that I can guarantee 100% are false positives. This makes Seedance 2 completely unreliable for professional work, which is a shame, because (at least when it was still in pre-release) it is an amazing video model. I really don't understand why Bytedance has chosen to hobble it.

I’ve been quiet for a while. Not because I stopped creating, but because some things take time to process. A friend of mine, my BROTHER fom year 0, my band mate and my first business partner, was diagnosed with ALS. When we understood what was happening, we did the only thing that felt right: we got our band back together. We used to play together in the 90s. So we went to his place, brought microphones, instruments… and wrote, recorded and produced a song together. That song became “Dead Man”. I mixed and mastered it… and he got to hear it before he passed away. That moment meant everything. Then, in agreement with the family, i put together a video featuring his AI avatar. (Thanks to @ImagineArt_X providing the platform to create the stills and assets for the video, and to @dreamina_ai CPP for letting me access the best model for video available today, seedream 2.0. Its so impressive how chat gpt image 2 and seedance 2.0 on @ImagineArt_X can work so well in creating a coherent 15 minute movie scene with the editing already nailed. All you need is good assets; character sheets, locations and main objects (like the motorbike, in this case) chat gpt will then create a perfect 9 scenes storyboard, and @dreamina_ai seedance will just produce the movie snippet. Even if you plan to build the main shots by isolating the action, these can really be hepful to isualize a sort of "prepro" to lokck in timing and shots, but also as b roll eventually.

We were planning to do something together. When we got back in touch a couple of years ago. He was a passionate film lover and really interested in experimenting with AI. In a way, we stull did. While making this, I found myself noticing things… signs that appeared along the way. Like a crow stopping my bike ride to pick up a stone. Signs I chose to follow. Maybe ones he left behind for me.
