@CatharineHoey@bbcquestiontime That question about Reform was so obviously a plant and then when the guy couldn’t actually give any examples Bruce miraculously had the details to hand🤔
Would I be correct in thinking that Fiona Bruce @bbcquestiontime showed her bias against Reform in last nights programme. Surely she should try to show she is
impartial even if she dislikes Reform !!
@CofEverywhere@SBarrettBar Interesting, he is on the NEC therefore he will have a say. Just because he was nit among the 9, he is the leader of the party so head of the NEC.
@stupod04@TheBritLad I don't want digital ID, I have nothing to hide. We already have forms of identification it's just another use of tax payers money for something we don't need to line politicians pockets. Wake up...
@TheBritLad And I bet most of them have their bank card on their phone and use their phone for everything they do so the government are already monitoring them.
Only people who don't want digital ID is those that have something to hide why else would you be bothered about it.
🚨HOLY SH*T: Thousands of young people just flooded central London streets to REJECT Digital ID completely.
They don’t want the state monitoring their every move.
It’s happening.
The youth are finally waking up.
@KingBobIIV@newlook I have just created a junk email address which I provide for all these type of situations. I never look at it apart from deleting them occasionally.
I just spent £61 in @NewLook and was told I had to give my email address to get a receipt. That is completely false and totally unlawful.
A receipt is a legal requirement when a customer asks for one and it cannot be made conditional on handing over personal data.
UK GDPR is very clear that consent has to be freely given and necessary for the service. An email is not needed to print a receipt.
What makes this worse is their target demographic is younger people who often do not know their rights.
The girls (all of them) behind the till lied straight to my face, then got shitty when I challenged them.
When she realised I was a nasty mean old bird, she finally printed mine, and everyone else in the queue suddenly asked for printed receipts too.
That tells you everything. Customers do not want this.
I will be reporting it, because this kind of data-grabbing is out of control and companies like New Look know exactly what they are doing. It is shocking behaviour.
@jeremycorbyn What about all the though clubs that have fans that have shown racism and hooliganism. Their and seem to let into our country and support their teams..this purely a racist action.
I have written to Lisa Nandy, following her grossly misleading comments over the Maccabi Tel Aviv ban.
This is about a group of fans with a history of racism and violence. It is not about banning Jewish people - and any attempt to conflate the two is shameful.

Oh dear. Keir Starmer: ‘Not a penny more on your Council Tax.’
8 councils across England are proposing Council tax hikes of between 10% and 25%.
So now anyone who pays council tax can join:
Pensioners.
Farmers.
Students.
Business owners.
Veterans.
WASPI women.
@Adhekcs I would hazard a guess that you are doing a stretch at his Majesty's pleasure if that's all the fun you have. Shame because you would fit right in at a Spoons!
Gentlemen in the audience hits the nail on the head
"I'm afraid you are gonna have to find me the world's smallest violin to tell me that you don't pay tax on an estate worth £5 Million"
This will only impact a small percentage of the wealthiest land owners

Dear Reading FC Supporters,
We understand that there are many questions surrounding the renewal of season tickets during these uncertain times. STAR has had discussions with the Club regarding extending the renewal period beyond the existing deadline but this is unfortunately not possible. In the interests of absolute transparency, the reasons for this are as follows:
The Club has allocated resources and planned their cash flow around the renewal week deadline. Extending the period would disrupt their operations. As a fanbase we are more aware than ever of the cashflow difficulties that exist at present, and understand the need to be able to ensure continued operations.
A significant number of season ticket holders have already renewed. Extending the deadline could be viewed as unfair by those that have acted promptly to renew and secure the discounted price.
We recognise that some fans hesitate to renew due to concerns about ownership. This is entirely understandable and we all want a custodian for this club that will treat it with the respect and dignity it deserves. With exclusivity recently expiring the timeline for resolving this issue remains uncertain.
We recognise, and feel the impact ourselves, that purchasing a season ticket is a substantial expense. Unfortunately the Club is still unable to secure credit to enable instalment payments. We recommend that anyone purchasing a season ticket considers using a credit card for added security. If, for any reason, the Club cannot fulfil the season ticket, paying by credit card ensures that you would receive a refund (pro rata) under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974.
Thank you for your continued support of our Club.
Let’s look forward to the season ahead! Up the Ding!
